Dave Asprey and his Bulletproof coffee have officially gone mainstream. So many people are now adding butter and MCT oil or MCT powder to their morning coffee and singing the mind-clarifying benefits. I discovered a new twist on Keto-Coffee today that I had to share.
Kegenix has introduced their first Keto-Meal Replacement Powder for people on-the-go who want to grab a Keto-friendly convenient meal. While making my coffee this morning I wondered how it would taste in my coffee instead of my usual butter+MCT oil + stevia. All I have to say is I won't be making my morning coffee without it tomorrow.
I ran out of MCT oil this morning and was looking for an alternative. I remembered that I had a jug of Kegenix Meal Replacement Vanilla in my pantry so I grabbed it. After reading the label I decided that it was fine to use prior to training this morning and put a scoop in my coffee forewent the butter and stevia.

Looking at the macros, 1 scoop added 5g of fat, 5g of protein and 4.5g of carbohydrates of which 2g are fiber and 0g of sugar. More exciting is that the MRP added actual ketones salts to my coffee.
Yes! Real ketones in my coffee and not just a form of fat that will produce ketones. This is NextGen Keto-coffee folks.
I trained hard with just this in me this morning and felt strong and alert. And best of all, I accidentally used decaf coffee this morning and didn't notice the lack of caffeine at all! FACT!
And the vanilla flavor made it tastes like I was drinking some boutique coffee late best of all. You have to try this of you currently drink any type of Keto-coffee in the morning. Plus there’s added vitamins and minerals! I promise you, you’ll be thinking about your morning keto-coffee the night before from now on.
