THANK YOU for having Dr. Seyfried on the show, Carl! I'm a nutritionist teaming up with a naturopathic physician in the DC area to help her cancer patients with ketogenic diets. We cannot get the word out enough about this! People really deserve to know there are non-toxic options in oncology...or, of course, to use a keto diet as an adjunct to traditional chemo & radiation. It seems to make them more effective, while making the side effects much more tolerable. Dr. Seyfried is right -- ketogenic diets are certainly NOT a cure for cancer, but they can extend life a fair amount, and more important, vastly improve the *quality* of that extra time with loved ones.
