			<description><![CDATA[HHmmmmm I have to think about this but its plausible... if there is no onrush of aminos from rapid breakdown (as in whey protein) and thus rapid conversion to glucose via gluconeogenisis .. your are most likely correct.. My point during that statement was a meal that would normally not spike insulin WILL spike insulin regardless of the partitioning effects. And thus an effect on overall insulin sensitivity.. but yes.. you are correct in your statement. I will clarify on next Friday's show. Thanks!!]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[great show. i really enjoy casual friday's. however i disagree with a point that you made on the show regarding consuming diet soda with food. you mentioned that diet soda, even though it is sugar free, still spikes insulin and this will cause fat storage of the food you ate with the diet soda. i don't think this would be true for someone who is on a carb free diet. for example, if i ate a 20 oz piece of steak, an avocado with tobasco sauce, and 20oz of diet soda, and i got an insulin spike from the diet soda, there would be no glucose for the insulin to store.]]></description>
