I don't understand why you have written that this study is so important for the fathers and grandfathers who were exposed to AO in Vietnam. I wrote Dr. Skinner and asked him about this very issue. Dr. Skinner wrote the following about the study: "A male exposure will effect his health but not clear if can be passed to later generations." Although this research is promising for the families of male Vietnam veterans. It doesn't prove why the children of male Vietnam veterans are sick or why they are born with multiple birth defects. It seems to me that the male rats would need to be exposed to dioxin for this to be helpful to our families. Dr. Skinner hopes that future human studies will be possible. We hope so too since our children/grandc hildren and great grandchildren are born with multiple birth defects, sick, suffering and dying.
