Resistance training does not always produce the desired gains in strength and lean body mass in men and women over 50 years of age. Dr. Candow looked at the effects of resistance training on these parameters when creatine is supplemented. Several papers are discussed in both pre and post-menopausal women as well as men. Creatine’s effect on bone mineral uptake, inflammation and much more are all covered. A specific dosing protocol was developed in Dr. Candow’s lab that will take the guesswork out of the approach
