[00:00:00] Hey. Hey, welcome back again today. If you're listening live. We have to restart the show my server crashed. I'm not even sure that the original portions we taped got recorded. So we are going to do this again. So bear with us and promise you that will make this move fast. Today's guest is Tammy nesland.
[00:00:52] I've been following Tammy on Facebook for a long time and what I have seen this woman do. [00:01:00] At 56 years old is nothing short of astonishing and so I wanted to bring her on the show because this is the beginning of the year, especially women that making commitments. I'm going to lose the weight. I'm going to do this I'm going to do that.
[00:01:13] The reality is that it's actually a lot easier than you think it is, but you got to be patient. How you doing Tommy? I'm good yourself. Good good. This is Groundhog Day Tommy. Yes. Yeah, so let's start off at the beginning where we started before and that is how did you find your way into physical culture?
[00:01:35] How did you find the love of training? Okay, so I started I've always been Physically Active always been in sports in high school and college and. In my turns, 39 40 as ions and start lifting weights really lifting weights. So went to the gym got a trainer and to started lifting I went in there and I called myself skinny fat because I actually wait a hundred eight and I remember doing [00:02:00] dumbbell flyes and skin underneath my arm.
[00:02:03] Just flapping and I was completely disgusted with myself and thought What's Happening Here? And I just kept going back to the gym cry doctor after I left there. I think I my body fat taken. It was like 20 in the high 20s, and I kept going back in. The trainer said you need to do a show you need to compete and Ice.
[00:02:22] I don't want to compete. No do a show he's got this great detail paper. You'd be great at it. And I said, okay, so I'll do it. Wait did my first show got first place and bodybuilding by was super lean weight 90 pounds and just loved weight training love how it made me feel loved to getting up in the morning and going to the gym first and then start my day off.
[00:02:44] Well got meal plans and started eating correctly which changed my life forever that day forward. So the reality is and you and I have talked about this off the air and we actually talked about it during the first taping. We just tried to before the crash, [00:03:00] you know that the real problem that besieges women today is that they really don't give anything enough time to work and that stems from not trusting the process and to elaborate on that a woman will.
[00:03:15] Choose some plan to get in shape to get healthy to lose body fat and two weeks into it. They're weighing themselves every single day and the scales not moving and to them what they're thinking is it's two weeks in and I really haven't lost any weight or a maybe a pound or two. I don't want to dedicate six months to something.
[00:03:38] That's not working. I'll go try something else. Is that a mistake? It's a huge mistake women do it all the time. I see it every single day and I think in the society really were throwaway Society if something something doesn't work. Let's try something else for one thing. Stop getting on the scale.
[00:03:57] I never weigh myself and that's my coach tells me to [00:04:00] and then the thing is you've got to trust the process. You didn't get it overnight. You didn't get the way you look with all that fat on. It's going to take a while for it to take it off and for you to build them the lean muscle. That's what they have to understand trust the process.
[00:04:15] I always tell everybody give you a six month would get yourself a good year. Then trust it it works. I know it's work. I've been in the industry that long as somebody says it's not working but they're supposed to be doing they're not they're not doing what they're supposed to be doing. Okay, and now the the other problem I think women fall prey to.
[00:04:36] Is you have companies out there that promote this idea that rapid weight loss is easy. If you just eat their meals, you know, Jenny Craig has a very disingenuous marketing campaign lose 10 pounds for 10 dollars. Well, I want to lose 50 pounds. Can I just send you $50 this idea that [00:05:00] rapid weight loss is something that.
[00:05:05] Is is not only that women are capable of which they probably aren't but that it's a realistic goal. How much of that kind of marketing hurts woman's ability to stick to the plan long enough to see results all of it all the marketing. Women just understand and men for that fact women understand just eat healthy either good regimen be your part of your fat be consistent with it.
[00:05:35] You're going to see the changes. But well the society today want a quick fix. I want to take a pill to change that or I want to take a pill for to Lublin. I'm going to take a pill for my allergies going to it's all pill pill pill. Just eat the right foods and I guaranteed gonna feel a lot better that floating us that guy Phoenix whatever it might be is going to hell way.
[00:05:56] I guarantee it. If you trust this process if you eat [00:06:00] the right Foods if you stay consistent with it, it's a lifestyle people ask me all the time. I'm not going to show this year. You don't have a photo shoot you can eat regular food. They call it well regular food to me is what I eat regular food to them is going out every single night.
[00:06:16] Not what I do. That's not my lifestyle. I want a healthy lifestyle. I'm going to live for a long time. I want to put Good Foods in so this is an important distinction. We really didn't cover earlier. So I'm glad we're going to talk about it. Now this what is it about the human condition that we believe that a sign of success a sign of living a good life is actually.
[00:06:45] Consuming crappy Foods, you know when I say crappy, I mean, you know going to a restaurant and having this big elaborate meal with lots of stuff in it that really isn't the best for you and and that somehow [00:07:00] you are shortchanging yourself because you're so quote-unquote rigid. I'm sure you've heard that word before but the reality is that what is more important than being healthy and living?
[00:07:12] Like how important is that fantastic restaurant to the fact that it's contributing perhaps to you not living long and being healthy, right? It's like, you know your organs inside, you know, what's going to matter most when you're laying down that deathbed that great restaurant that you went out to eat her you're eating healthy living lifestyle and enjoying your family.
[00:07:34] You know, that's really what it's all about. But you have to get put good food in. Kenny the crap. Talk about your diet for a minute. So food prep is number one the first step if someone is serious about wanting to lose weight if they and I got to say this real quick because I know a lot of women women say they want to lose weight, [00:08:00] but they really are not willing to do the things that Ensure.
[00:08:04] The time that you're putting in will lead you to your goal and number one is prepping food, isn't it? That's huge. That's a big part of it because so I'll talk about that. I always prep food on Sunday. It's my day. To do all my get prepared for the week. So my food prep looks like and I enjoy food preps.
[00:08:24] It's my time. I'll turn on the radio. I listen to the music wasn't to the motivational speakers and put my food so it might be chicken that week. It might be fish that we can might be grown turkey steak is always on my leg days. So I'll cook all my chicken for the week or whatever that might be and all my broccoli all my asparagus and my spinach I have my.
[00:08:47] Rice's I have my sweet potatoes. Am I am that's what my week consists of and that's what I eat all week long. I always people know me if if it's lunch time this time with their food, I never if [00:09:00] I go out the Costco I take my food with me because I never know how long I'm going to be there. I don't want to go without my next meal.
[00:09:06] It's feeding your body is important your body knows when it's when it's hungry. It knows when it needs to refill it. You have to eat the proteins in order to keep the muscle and we doesn't have to be bulky muscle but it has to be muscle has to fill up our skin as we get older as women our skin starts to Sag.
[00:09:23] You've got to fill it up with some muscle mass or your Skin's going to be saggy. Uh-huh, and we don't understand that process either, you know, they wanted overnight. They want to build the muscle. They ask me all the time. Well, how do you get your ads? How do you look like you do? It's my lifestyle.
[00:09:37] It's eating healthy. See and everybody and remember them everybody wants a quick fix but here's the bottom line. None of the quick fixes work. None of them work for very long. If they even do work short term. You will end up being fatter after the Quick Fix. Why not take your time over the course of a year and do it, right which will improve your health, [00:10:00] but also really give you what you're looking for.
[00:10:02] And that is a beautiful body that you're proud to be naked in if you have to. And that you know Spanx and you know, all this stuff that women are using today to look a certain way. But at the end of the day you take that stuff off and you see yourself in the mirror and that person you see in the mirror.
[00:10:21] You're obviously trying to hide otherwise you'd be wouldn't be wearing all of these things. Why not just put the year or two in and do it, right? Because it's a lot easier than you think it is on top of that how frequently do you eat every couple hours. Every two and a half three hours two and a half most likely but I it's all the time.
[00:10:40] I mean, I have one two, three, four, five six meals a day, you know, I eat a lot of food and people don't realize how much food I have and still can. By the way, I am and look the way I am right but it time and repetition. It didn't take me. You know, I I've been building this and it's a lifestyle [00:11:00] for me and that's what people have to understand.
[00:11:02] They say I'm glad you brought up about to spank saying to you know, women put these things in on they go off and then they get home and then they take them on they look at themselves and they all want to do something about it, but they don't they go to the next day and you start all over again. If they just trust the process I can guarantee your stomach and more a lot of women have problems with their stomach the digestive system and I guarantee it you're going to feel a hundred percent better.
[00:11:27] If you just listen to that one thing you're going to feel a hundred percent. That was so let's let's let's talk about something. So you eat the same Foods pretty much week in and week out. So from what I know about you so far is you'll prepare. Let's say. Chicken broccoli and rice and every single meal except in the morning, right because you have your you have your egg whites in the morning with your oatmeal, but the the next five meals pretty much of the same thing [00:12:00] all week long and don't you notice that your stomach has a much easier time digesting food when you eat the same Foods over and over again.
[00:12:08] Oh, it's huge. If there's a you know, say I went out I done this before it's my time. So consistent with my food if I go out the restaurant in my have a cheat meal. So I'm going to have a cheat meal of sushi or something else. My stomach will be a wreck days because it's telling it saying Cammy, what did you just put in stuff not working for me?
[00:12:27] Because they consistency in the food or always the same and the same to is its you don't have to think about what you're going to eat for breakfast. You don't have to think about where you're going to have for lunch. It's already done. It's convenient as easy. That's why people have to understand so it's not hard.
[00:12:42] It's easy to do the same thing over and over it again. But what about women right now? Okay, so you don't eat chicken every week. You may have chicken one week next week. You may have turkey with with vegetables and a complex carb the next week. It could be steak, but that's what you eat for the entire week, correct.
[00:13:00] [00:13:00] Absolutely. Okay, so there's women out there they're going to say but that's so boring. Don't you get bored of eating that food every day for a week? No. I know. I really don't I enjoy the food, you know, you can ask. Things on top of like II mustard on it must have a college freezers are they have like sugar free barbecue sauce.
[00:13:21] I'll put on there. It's the things you can do to your foods that aren't just playing I could eat it cold. I don't have my meals right because that kept condition of my body over these years to eat it but women have to start someplace and it can reach out to every woman woman and say just give it time.
[00:13:41] I guarantee I promise you. If you trust the process, if you do the work my coach stopped us from Washington State to always say I'd be frustrated you see Tammy trust the process just trust the process. You know, it's funny mustard is one of the healthiest condiment you can [00:14:00] use because it has our newly beloved to American it which has curcuminoids value but Mustard Seed in and of itself also has anti-inflammatory.
[00:14:09] And mustard is really great for you and not enough people really use it. They turn to you know, mayonnaise and and things that tend to be a little fattier. I love mustard. I actually will squirt a dollop of mustard on my tongue and eat that sometimes I love hiking I can't sleep. The screen it's tasty.
[00:14:30] I put mustard on everything. Yeah, people always laugh at me and they know me if we go out someplace and they know Cam he's going to have her chicken and I'll ask the restaurants. You know, I brought my own food. Is it? Okay and they always accommodate me and they say yeah and I'll just order a salad.
[00:14:46] But if you go out to a restaurant to you have a function to go to and people would use the excuse. Why can't I had to take clients out for dinner? Well it up them and you ask them to cook your chicken a certain way. Your vegetables a [00:15:00] certain way and they'll accommodate you but a lot of people they have excuses or have this party app to go to people people drinking.
[00:15:07] That's a big one too. People are drinking why I don't drink average rank for 13 years, but that's not for everybody. But if you're out drinking, you know carry a cranberry round if you're embarrassed, you're not drinking that's another thing too if people think but they're embarrassed about it.
[00:15:23] Why that's your lifestyle be proud of. So let's talk about alcohol now just for a second because you you invoke that so it's my impression that alcohol actually will stall your gains. It's been shown to actually caused blunt protein synthetic response, which is what you're going for when you train you eat protein, but also it actually can foul up the thyroid and it can actually slow the metabolism which will make you more prone to storing body fat.
[00:15:51] Is that why you cut out alcohol? Was there a different reason? Yeah, alcohol sugar sugar content that right [00:16:00] wipes. And I didn't enjoy it anyways, so it's I just gave it up interesting very interesting. I want to I want to God, I'm sorry and I don't need okay now and that's important not everybody feels that let some people feel like they're not enjoying life if they don't have a glass of wine.
[00:16:20] If you can do that, you know and it doesn't derail your goals then God bless you. But if you feel like you're doing everything right but you're not seeing the results. Maybe it's time to give it a try where you just cut that out for a couple months. Just see what happens for a couple months be your own experiment.
[00:16:38] Yeah. Yeah, exactly elimination. I want to take a break and when we come back, I want to talk a little bit more about your food plan. And then there's some other questions I have we're talking with Tammy nesland. If you want to learn more about our you can go to Facebook and look for tami-lynn L.
[00:16:56] YN nesland and ESL UND [00:17:00] ifbb Pro friend her reach out to her. Ask her questions. She can help you reach your goals stay tuned. We'll be right back. One thing's for sure. Tammy nesland looks like a superhero. I mean really and 56 years old and a lot of women think that the older you get. It's just Out Of Reach to look like that to feel like that and it's just really not and it's important to understand you're not going to get there doing Jenny Craig you're not because those foods are designed to Pander to people who think everything has to taste.
[00:17:34] So great. And you know what the reality is when you simplify your diet your palate changes. And little things like plain oatmeal with nothing on it tastes really fantastic. Have you found that? Absolutely. It is simple everyone would just realize it's not hard to follow a meal plan. It's simple and you'll see the results for you've got to be patient.
[00:17:59] You know, I [00:18:00] always say how you do one thing is how you do everything in life. If you're on start a meal planning you throw it away how that relates to the rest of your life. Really? Yeah, they were a few are throwaway Society. I think we try something and give it up. We're not stick with it for a while.
[00:18:16] I know it works. I've been in the industry this long I worked if it's not working for you. You're not doing what you're supposed to be doing you're cheating or whatever that might be. So don't tell me it's not looking so a moment ago when we were talking about sleep we talked about the fact that the some women have problems sleeping and this definitely contributes to hormonal changes that can lead to.
[00:18:39] Fat loss if I mean fat gain, it's maybe because they're craving foods, which they you when you don't sleep while you crave sugars and carbs because blood sugar goes crazy, but more importantly when women go through menopause. They their bodies change and a lot of times they blame those [00:19:00] changes for their inability to stick to.
[00:19:06] A regimented protocol and I'm because of you. I've always said, you know women who go through menopause have a much harder time losing body fat because they don't sleep. Well, they have crazy blood sugar spikes. They they lose that zest for life to be active. But tell your story you were actually forced into menopause through surgery.
[00:19:34] Right? Right, right. I went had to have a complete hysterectomy and went in and my doctor said we've already gone through menopause. So, you know, you having hot flashes. Are you feeling a little different you having mood swings and I didn't I didn't have anything like that. But you know, I was talking to my mom to and.
[00:19:52] She didn't have those menopausal any as well, but I think it's how I think building up and how you're eating and our minds are an amazing [00:20:00] thing and what it what it can can contribute to and they think just having positive things in your mind and positive people around you will make the decisions, you know, that can affect your body well, but other why I'm all I agree with you a hundred percent at the same time.
[00:20:17] I have to say that the hormonal changes that some women. Suffered through during menopause aren't easily pushed to the side by just being positive. So he so okay. So we have a genetic component here because you say your mom didn't have a difficult menopause either. She never had hot flashes, right?
[00:20:39] Okay, so that that's on your side. But I also think that what else was on your side and correct me if I'm wrong, but you had already been training and eating this way. When you had your hysterectomy, right? Right, right and you continue to eat and train after the hysterectomy have same way. [00:21:00] So of course I had to be off for the eight weeks which kills me but I still you know ate my food, so it's built up through a long period of time my conditioning in my health.
[00:21:09] I really feel it a fact affected them in a box. Well, and I want to talk about something that's that's very overlooked. And I have a feeling long after I'm gone. There's going to be studies proving what I'm about to say, but when you eat the same Foods day in and day out it does two things. It's a lot less wear and tear on the body because the body becomes used to eating those foods and it becomes more efficient at digesting those foods and the body likes that but there's something else so I have looked at centenarians for a long time and.
[00:21:47] There's one thing that's common with all people who live to be a hundred and R&R in a wheelchair, you know, they're they're fairly mobile still and so on whether they say at 2 [00:22:00] o'clock. I have a Budweiser I Met George Burns George Burns smoked a cigar every single day had two martinis every single day.
[00:22:07] He had him at the same time every single day. consistency in your schedule routine. Is the one thing shared by all people who live long healthy lives and there's a reason for that because from an evolutionary perspective. Having access to the same Foods day in and day out tells your body. We are in a world of abundance.
[00:22:37] We are not threatened. We are not worrying about famine. We're getting the same stuff. Every day at the same times and stress shortens life. So anything you do that changes that whether it's meditation, whether it's prayer, whether it's eating the same Foods day in and day out having that one [00:23:00] martini at two o'clock in the afternoon smoking that one cigar even things that we know of bad for you can actually not be bad for you if they're part of a regimented routine.
[00:23:12] That tells your body life is good. We have everything we need and it's here every day. We need it. You're right on track on that one for sure. I am a creature of habit fa everything I do is the same thing every single day day in and day out at the same thing kinds so I completely agree with that statement.
[00:23:35] I am where I am today because of my consistency. My trusting the process following the journey and being consistent every single day. Yeah, it's really an amazing thing, isn't it? So, so did you have any difficulty? Did you have to change the way you trained? Did you have to change the way you ate even a little bit cut your calories [00:24:00] post-menopause.
[00:24:02] Did you did anything change about your metabolism then that one thing? That's amazing thing that I was the same. I would do it could have been doing it for so long. It's I didn't change anything. Nothing. Nothing was changing my diet. Nothing was trained changed in my training after of course. I went through the surgery.
[00:24:23] I had to take eight weeks off. So it took them took me a while to build it back up. So my endurance but my body bounce right back muscle memory we have is an amazing. Our bodies are amazing thing if we just take care of them while you abuse them. So anybody who have. No, I agree. I agree. So you've never really thought about HRT then.
[00:24:48] No, my doctor recommended it, but I didn't need it my boss. Why would I need it? My body's functioning? The way it should be. All right going great. I'm time was amiss great. My foods are great. My [00:25:00] workouts are great. Why do I need it? This isn't this is an amazing discussion because what it shows that if you're eating.
[00:25:09] the same foods and we talk about healthy food. And when we talk about healthy foods will talk about a very narrow class. We talked about animal protein green leafy veggies and some complex starches and that's it. It's all we're talking about. We're not talking about fancy meals when I told him about, you know, high-priced dinners when I told me any of that sort of stuff, but when you do that consistently long enough that can actually anchor you in health that even going through.
[00:25:40] Radical hysterectomy that forced you into menopause seemed insignificant to you. Yeah, that's amazing. No effect on me. None whatsoever. My life discontinued and here's why here's why it makes sense hot flashes or flushes, depending on what you like to call them [00:26:00] actually are a result of this regulation of blood sugar where women have.
[00:26:07] Momentary episodes of hypoglycemia such severe drops in blood sugar. And if you look up hypoglycemia the top three symptoms of a hypoglycemic episode is sweating Tremor and anxiety. And when you ask women who are having a tough time going through menopause, they'll tell you hot flashes. They make me sweaty.
[00:26:34] I feeling anxious all the time. I always feel like I'm nervous about something and and and also I noticed that my hand shake now when I hold a cup of tea my handshake, these are all the result of hypoglycemic episode. You didn't go through that because you eating every two and a half hours.
[00:26:53] Absolutely. I didn't have any of it, but imagine if you're not a man. Just somebody who just [00:27:00] eating Foods whenever you know, all of these women to is they starve themselves. They want to lose weight. So they don't eat they fast all day long and they eat something in night when they put it in the body in whatever they're putting in the water turns directly into that.
[00:27:13] It doesn't go to the muscle so consistency and eating every two and a half hours is a key. It's not hard to do. You take your food with. If you're in a meeting or something, excuse yourself go out and eat and come back in. It's not hard to do but everybody everybody wants to use an excuse so that that's an important distinction.
[00:27:32] So you have a fairly busy lifestyle. You're going to school. You're very close with your daughter and her children. I mean you you you ride motorcycles you you have a really active lifestyle right? It's not like there's no wall. All you do is train and eat and sleep. No, my my my my profession isn't in training anybody.
[00:27:56] I don't train people. I don't you know specialize in meal [00:28:00] plans. I have a normal life just like everybody else at work starts for us here in the morning morning doesn't get done until 8:00 9:00 at night. I go go and my inner guidance another thing I want to address two as my energy level is out of this world.
[00:28:15] I mean at school the teachers go Tammy. Are you always. No active and I said, yes, just how my body is and they contribute to my foods like consistency. I'm not tired. I grant it at nine o'clock whenever I go to bed my head so I'm out. Because my lifestyle is I'm busy and my consistency on my Foods.
[00:28:35] It keeps me active. It keeps me going. I'm not tired. What about what about spirituality? Does that play a role? I know you that you're a big believer in. The strength of positive thinking and we could talk more about that in a little bit. But what about spirituality or meditation do those play a role in your life?
[00:28:56] Oh, it's huge. Yeah every like I said my [00:29:00] when you talk about routines I could tell you minute from then at what I do in the morning, but one of them is right. I have our I caught my prayer Journal pray in the morning and meditate and I also do that at night and it centers me. And if the older I get the more it is I realized stop worrying about small things Life's Too Short.
[00:29:25] Enjoy every single day. You know what you're worried about something you have no control over. So spirituality and mindset is huge how I do one thing is how I do everything tomorrow today is not guaranteed. I want to live today like it's my last every single day. I want to take a quick commercial break when we come back.
[00:29:44] I want to talk a little bit about positive mental attitude and what you think it plays the role that it plays in The Journey for women stay tuned. We'll be right back. Welcome back. We're talking with Tammy nesland. She is [00:30:00] someone that women should follow. Because she's doing it right nothing's nothing absurd.
[00:30:06] There's nothing you know, oh, you know, so heroic about what she's doing, but what she's doing is really based in consistency and patience consistency and patience. And you know, Tammy many of us we go to college for four years. We don't halfway through our freshman semester go man. I don't even know if this is going to work.
[00:30:33] Maybe I'll bail. You know be good because we trust the prop we know you go to school for four years. You you go you get a degree and you go on the problem. Is that the confusion over diet for women today? Because of places like Jenny Craig and because of all these different groups and you know that are trying to get women to part with their money for a dietary program.
[00:30:57] Give them the illusion that a [00:31:00] weight loss is fast to everyone. And B it doesn't take long and it's really sad because that's why these women when they are doing something right? Let's say they follow your approach takes up prepping their food. They start simplifying their their diet menu. They start eating every two and a half hours no excuses, because you know, everybody loves to make excuses like you either want to do it or you don't that's it.
[00:31:28] It's a simple question. If you don't want to do it, don't say you want to do it. Don't say oh I'm going to do it don't don't even say it realize that it's not that important to you because if it was important to you wouldn't be making excuses about why you can't do it. Absolutely but totally brief time.
[00:31:46] You'll just stick with it long enough and Trust the journey the same way you trusted that the your college was going to get you out in four years, right exactly everything. They would just trust the journey trust the [00:32:00] process and be patient. I know it works and I promise all you ladies out there in men there listening.
[00:32:07] If you just trust the process it will work. I know I've been in the industry a long enough. I know it works just to just really have to be patient and you really have to want it me really have to live a healthy lifestyle today. It's all about processed food fast food the Fast Fix will how does that make you feel?
[00:32:26] How does your body feel how does your body react I can guarantee? It doesn't feel really good up here. It had a big lobster meal with butter all over it and that huge baked potato and your stomach's not telling you something. Yeah, everything in moderation. I'm not saying don't eat foods but everything in moderation, but just stick with it trust the process if I get anything in everybody's had is just trust the process it will work.
[00:32:50] But be patient you have to be patient how you do one thing is how you do everything. You know, I have a routine have a set routine of what you do every single day day in [00:33:00] and day out that is really what it's all about. I mean I have that can tell you minute by minute what my routine is every single day.
[00:33:08] So you want to hear something funny now that you said that dr. Dominic D'Agostino is a friend of the show, and he and I were at a seminar once. And we were talking about NASA NASA did an experiment where they took. Twins. and sent one of them to live in the space lab up there. and the other guy stayed here on Earth and.
[00:33:38] When this individual that was living in space came back, and I don't know he's this space six months or seven months. They did a variety of tests on him and his twin. to see what the impact of living. In zero gravity outside of the Earth's atmosphere did to this individual [00:34:00] one of the things that they found was his telomeres got longer.
[00:34:05] But wait a minute everybody thought oh, so living in space. Makes your telomeres longer the scientists didn't say that what they did. Say was. When you are on the space lab you desert there's a actual chart on the wall with a pointer that moves and it's basically a long clock and it tells you where you're supposed to be every minute.
[00:34:36] Okay, 15 minutes, you're going to be sitting in your seating and so you don't even think about it. You just look up at the wall I go. Okay. I got four more minutes to finish this then I'm going over there and what they said was that. Having that regimentation that ritualistic approach where you know what you're doing every minute of the day [00:35:00] actually lowered stress levels in all of the astronauts and that in this is the lack of stress is where telomeres.
[00:35:09] Actually started to grow this goes all the way before Circle to prepping your meal every Sunday having the same things to eat every day getting to the gym every single day and what we've learned about centenarians at least what I have learned. No one is talking about this. Everybody's talking about the blue zones are talking about the okay now and diet the French diet the French paradox the Mediterranean diet.
[00:35:31] But what no one is talking about is when you talk to people who've lived to be 80 90 and a hundred you find out they do the same things every day at the same times. And what do we learn from the astronaut his telomeres got longer because he was doing the same things every day at the same time right?
[00:35:50] Amen. You're speaking my language because it's so true. I do the same thing every single day every single day. And that's [00:36:00] why I allow myself one cheat meal per week. And that might be a hamburger and should potato fries or might be a steak and baked potato. Nothing crazy because I don't want to put that other junk in my body, but it's I'm literally ritual every single day.
[00:36:15] It's consistency and for people who will hear you say, so there was a period of time in my life where I was exactly the way you are and I'm going to get back to it. And then people say oh, you know, oh you went had sushi, how could that when you eat foods that your body thrives on long enough. The analogy I give is if you if you have a muddy glass of water and you put one drop of Black Ink in it, you won't even see it.
[00:36:47] But if you have a clear glass of water and you put one drop of Black Ink in it. Wow. Wow, can you see so when you live this kind of a lifestyle for years and you eat [00:37:00] something that your body doesn't like you feel it like that like that clear glass of water with the one drink of what one drop of black ink.
[00:37:10] Absolutely. I mean I'll get my stomach is bloated. It'll be gurgling it just it it wants it out. So it's telling me it's time to get it out the right long in there. Okay, so talk about talk about positive thinking positive attitude and surrounding yourself with positive people. When did you start?
[00:37:31] When did you actually start doing that and why and then how has your life changed? That's really been huge for me. And that's in the last four to five years. I went through a divorce and. just wanted to distance people- people out of my life and. It's hard because you still have friends. I call it like a bull's-eye.
[00:37:55] Yeah, I was bald guy in this Bullseye. You can have your close friends in the middle. All these other [00:38:00] acquaintances are on the outside negative or positive. It's up to us, whether we pull those people into the middle or pull them out. I have pulled so many out to the outer side of the Rings. I only have a few little positive people in there because I don't want it that around my life.
[00:38:16] My girls make in Jordan and loving the pieces I mean. They don't allow negative people in the all it's all positive and positive thinking will get you so much further than negative. If you're around a negative a person and they're negatively pull you down with their negativity. I don't want to be around it.
[00:38:34] And I told people I love you I adore you, but I don't want to have that negative in my life. So if you're going to talk negative, I can't be around you. Fran I love people see what that's a little harsh, isn't it? Well, no, not for me because I won't allow it. You don't allow negativity. It doesn't serve me.
[00:38:52] I hope it still gives gives gives some real world examples. So first of all, I guess men like to gossip too but [00:39:00] women like the gossip. So gossip that's just negativity. Right? Absolutely. All right, and and another thing that's famous now thanks to social media is people judging and tearing other people down because of their own insecurities, but that's negative.
[00:39:16] Absolutely. Okay, so give me an example of something that happened recently to you that you could have chosen to look at negatively, but you didn't and how did you look at it instead? What was your Technique your coping skills so to speak? For something might let me think. I'm not around it very often.
[00:39:37] So I have to think about this. One thing. I do want to mention is that women really have to be nice to other women? Women are generally not very nice to other women. I think we need to build each other up instead of tearing each other down. Guess I'll give a woman a compliment when you see her instead of you know, telling her she looks terrible.
[00:39:59] She's improve on [00:40:00] something. Okay, so I was at the gym. The other day and then know how to Jim. Can I have when I go to the gym, I laser-focused on my headset in and don't really talk to anybody. Well, somebody had came up to me and started talking about what did you hear? So and so was seeing somebody else in this up their thing and I said, you know what I said, I really don't want to hear it.
[00:40:20] I don't have time to hear it. It's not what I want to be that's their business and they left the conversation, you know Granite some people might say that rude, but I don't want to hear it, right. I don't want to hear about somebody else that's on them. I'm here not to judge anybody but I don't want to be around the negative and people say well, that's me and I had more women, you know, like I told you before, you know, I have my prayer Journal I pray for other women if they're going through difficult times.
[00:40:48] I had this one friend who she attracts negative people and when I pray for her and I talked to her she says, how do you do it and I said, I just tell them I can't be around him. She was well, [00:41:00] that's me. Well, if not me I was thinking more about you about more her feelings and you're thinking about your feelings right out there.
[00:41:08] Is that. So if I can coach other women on that back, it's not it's not about them. It's about you. But what you attract into your life, what do you want out of your life you want to sell positive view on it's all negative. I think most women want to tell positive and yeah, they're going to have to cut other women and men out of their life.
[00:41:27] But again, I promise I guarantee your life is going to change forever and my life had to change forever once I made that decision. But a lot of it to my girls to I mean they're always, you know, encouraging me talking to me and my girls are my best friends. They'll call me out on things too, which is great.
[00:41:46] Right right. Now, you know, there's a book that I read when I was a young man living in Las Vegas. I actually saw a therapist for short period of time. And he gave me a book called. I'm okay. You're okay. [00:42:00] It's a really old book and its really short to read but the premise of the book is that you should a lead your life from the point of view that what as it relates to other people.
[00:42:12] I am no better and certainly no worse than anyone else. So that means like I'm just like everybody else, but the other thing the other thing that is interesting, In the book that I've carried with me through my life is if you judge people, let's say you let's say you your husband wife and some kids.
[00:42:38] And somebody somebody else's kid gets to do something and you tear them down, you know, can you believe they're letting their kid do that? That is just so crazy. I just terrible and then. You have an opportunity to let your child do something. That kind of falls into that category and you really want to but you've created this [00:43:00] box by your job when you judge other people you create a smaller and smaller box of opportunities for you to live with.
[00:43:09] If you're tearing people down because they have money and they go on vacations all the time and you're like, oh how you know and then one day you come into money you're gonna feel guilty for taking vacations because you judge somebody else with that measuring stick. And so the one thing that I learned from the book, I'm okay.
[00:43:24] You're okay is the more you judge other people you confine your own life to those same judgments because. You're not going to say something bad about somebody then go and do it because then you're going to think something bad about yourself, right? Yeah. Absolutely. Like I said, who am I to judge?
[00:43:42] I'm nobody to judge. You know, I My Philosophy also is just gives other people love to give him love they got to give it back or they don't depends on them, but I'm okay with it. I really there there would be people make horrible comments when I was competing. [00:44:00] Now ugly it was and make your girls used to get so mad and I said, it's okay.
[00:44:05] It's alright, that's that's on them if they're saying making comment about you and judging you that's on them. That's not on me. So what if I'm sorry go ahead but it takes the time to get there and it didn't just happen overnight, but it was my mindset. I might either I'm a to be in or not at all.
[00:44:24] When I do something right? I'm not going to do it halfway. I want to see results in the same thing with worry and same thing with positive thoughts positive affirmations motivational speakers surround yourself with like kind people and I guarantee your life is going to change. So let's talk about your training for a second.
[00:44:44] So you like to train early in the morning. So as you said you've told me once before you get up around 4:30 in the morning, right? You have your first meal which is a cup of egg whites and a little bit of oatmeal. And then you [00:45:00] go up to the gym about why do you train about an hour later? 45 minutes later 25 minutes later.
[00:45:05] Yeah. So the food is moving out of your stomach now and you you don't have to worry about it. It's lagging there. So, how do you train do you do body parts splits? You do traditional bodybuilding type workout. Have you learned something else that works better? How do you train? For as it says like, you know when we get older our bodies change so training in my 40s in my 30s is going to be different than the way I train now.
[00:45:28] I'm still I still do body parts. I'll do change it up and do hit training which is high intensity, but mostly I do higher rep. I don't do super super heavy. Just because as we get older our joints, you know all of us lifters and have low back problems. So I'm super Capital kept on how I left. I'll do bands is also two different things.
[00:45:52] You can incorporate but most better body parts. I'll do like leg done. I do like twice a week Tuesdays Fridays and then I'll do [00:46:00] biceps triceps back. And then do some hit training if I want to do that high intensity where you're continuing to pay them continually moving. So it's all changing. But the way I left now is completely different the way I lifted five years ago.
[00:46:14] Do you really have to change it up women? We have to change it up. Our bodies get used to the same thing. And as we age we can't do the things I used to be able to do. So do it in moderation. It's all in moderation. And if you're not used to going to the gym get yourself a trainer YouTuber ask somebody, you know find yourself somebody who looks pit that's doing the right movement, you know people in this gym there about the weights thrown around in the body.
[00:46:41] Mechanics is horrible, right? I'd rather used to do super slow and five pounds and get the rep in and have a good Rhythm to it and good motion then throw weights around. It's not about lifting heavy. It really isn't people don't [00:47:00] understand that either. So I love it. It makes me happy and it fits in my lifestyle.
[00:47:08] Like I said, it's my lifestyle. Do you do you do you do cardio? Do you do cardio? I do the cardio not a whole lot because if you do nothing then I think you must talk about cardio. So a lot of women you seem in the gym. That's all they're doing is cardio, right? What are you doing is you're bringing up all that muscle that's going to fill in your skin.
[00:47:29] And why you doing because you're actually going to be skinny fat and this is that the look that you want to be and eat your food. So I do a little cardio unless I'm trying if I'm doing a photo shoot and I'm changed my nails and they look completely different or a show. It looks completely different, but I don't do a lot of cardio.
[00:47:49] How long do you spend at the gym each one? An hour to an hour and a half you do anything like sit in the sauna and he that's what it's [00:48:00] tough. I haven't lately I have before and that helped with the with your muscles, but really pretty basic cement that's I can get to anybody in all women out there.
[00:48:13] It's not rocket science. It really is. No it's not rocket science. It's consistency. That's what it is. You know, everybody's looking for the secret the secret is do it long enough and you'll see the results that you desire. So one of the things we talked about in this segment that we lost earlier was how important you feel it is that women set some sort of a goal whether it's not that maybe maybe it's to get on stage and do a competition.
[00:48:43] Or maybe it's the pick a competition and get competition-ready but not get on stage. Or maybe it's to take a dress or a pair of slacks out of their closet that they haven't worn forever and hang that in front of their face every day and their goal needs to be able to get back into that. [00:49:00] But you must have a measurable goal.
[00:49:05] Otherwise you you really not shooting for anything, right? Right goldfish huge for me. I every year I set three months six months nine months 12 months gold whether the financial Fitness spiritual I set those because if you don't have a goal, what are you? What are you reaching for? What are you going forward to what do you have to Aspire to be here to do?
[00:49:27] You don't have anything so I set goals and and reach them. I have certain goals and they want to like I said, tomorrow's not guaranteed. I want to achieve them. I have marked I call. Magic mirror marker light on the wall in figure golden your walls or on your mirrors and look at it every single day, you know, if you discuss it with your stuff and looking at yourself in the mirror and saying I want to make a change do it do it today.
[00:49:51] Don't fuck my of them say well wait 30 days after I have this function that I want to go to know. It's even do it today. It's not hard [00:50:00] but goals are super important goals are important if you have a wedding this a birthday or. Yes, if you just want to feel good you want to feel better? So she with women, you know, we all have stomach issues and guarantee you if you eat the right food day in and day out that bloating us that gurgling everything will go away but it takes time.
[00:50:23] It doesn't go away in the first day and it may not go in the first week. But if you do it long enough it will go away. Right. It may not go in three six six months of everybody's body some different. Right what works from looks for me might not work. I guarantee what works for me in the same my measurements and everything is going to be precinct for somebody else but consistency is the most important thing staying consistent on your meals inconsistent on your day staying consistent on your exercise.
[00:50:53] One doesn't saying good on you your spirituality one. It's not just one. It's a component of everything but [00:51:00] be consistent with it every single day day in and day out people ask me all the time. How do you do it? And that's why I tell him I trust the process consistency. Well you tell but it's something else too.
[00:51:11] And I know this internally myself it's not just trusting the process, but it's actually loving the process, you know, so many people. Don't feel like they're getting anything out of this if they're eating the way they should if they're training the way they should if they're sleeping the way they should and because all they care about is when will I lose this 10 pounds, but you also have to love the process.
[00:51:37] You have to love what it makes you feel when you when you get it. Right and I'm a big proponent. I've never been in a 12-step program. But one of the things they teach you in the 12-step programs for addiction is get it right today. Don't worry about tomorrow just focus on today and that Harkens back to [00:52:00] what we heard our parents saying take care of the pennies and the dollars take care of themselves.
[00:52:04] You just got to get it right today and then tomorrow you just got to get it right today. And then the next day you just got to get it right today. So don't look all the way out there. For for your gratification feel the little gold. I got to the gym today I ate right today. I'm winning. I'm winning fall in love with that feeling.
[00:52:26] It's one step at a time. I'm in those climbing that ladder one step at a time at climbing the staircase one step at a time. Same thing with training same thing with males. It's one day at a time and and love and like you said love what you do every single day if you hate what you do? Stop complaining about it are more women.
[00:52:49] Tell me you know, I want to make some changes there. How do you do it, but they don't do it. And why when you complain about it, I tell in the cement thing about me to is people complained and I said I want to [00:53:00] hear I don't I'm for it. What good at what how does that serve you by complaining about it?
[00:53:06] It doesn't what about people who keep putting it off. They know they have to do and I know what this feels like was when I was 330 pounds. I always had in the back of my head. Well, I'll lose the weight but just not right now. It's the holidays. So I'll lose the weight. You know, you just keep putting it off.
[00:53:23] There are people out there who they they wanted but they just keep putting it off. What do you say to them? Well procrastination just like any how we do one thing is how we do everything in our life and set it over and over again. If you putting this off, what else are you putting off in your life?
[00:53:42] How is that serving you it's not think about it. You know really look at what you do during the day how you do one thing is how you do everything if you're going to quit at a diet are going to put on your marriage. Are you going to quit on your job? You're going to quit on your kids. You're going to quit going to church.
[00:53:59] You [00:54:00] know, it all relates to the same. It's just a it's a full circle. Yeah, you're right. I want to take a last commercial break when we come back. I want to talk about what is next in store for you. What are your goals that you're looking forward to stay tuned. We'll be right back with more of Tammy nesland.
[00:54:16] Welcome back. This New Year's Day. Well, I'm sorry first show of the new year. I should say and we are joined by Tammy nesland and I specifically wanted to do the show as my first show of the Year even though. Technical difficulties and the universe tried to derail it. It did not work because I am Carla nor and and the reason I want to do this because right now more women are making a commitment to lose weight joining Jim signing up for Jenny Craig.
[00:54:48] Buying books buying diet pills right now because they have made a commitment that this is going to be the year that I lose the weight. They're going to put in a decent effort for about two [00:55:00] weeks. They're not going to be happy with the results. They're going to go this isn't working. And why would I want to waste time doing something?
[00:55:06] That doesn't work? I'm going to try something else. They won't go to the gym anymore. Or they'll switch from this diet plan to that diet plan and then Midway through the year. They have completely given up they've abandoned any hope of losing weight and they'll probably add another 10 pounds this year and this happens year in and year out until a woman is generally in her late 50s early 60s carrying close to 80 pounds of body fat and shortening her life and let's be.
[00:55:38] I remember being fat and I can use that word because I have a card in my wallet that says that I am a card-carrying fat person and when I was 330 pounds I hated the way I looked all this nonsense about love your body. No, nobody loves their body when they're that that way and you know, there was a there was a black comedian.
[00:55:59] I have a lot [00:56:00] of respect for now a name was Monique. And she used to talk about there's a lot more of me to love and and then she dropped like 80 pounds and she came forth and said I hated the way I felt back then I hated the way I looked so stop lying to yourself and telling yourself that in this era of you know, no more body shaming.
[00:56:23] I'm happy with this body because you know deep down inside you not. All right. So true and just learn to be consistent as Tammy is talking about it's boring as heck. That's really wonderful. It doesn't take a heroic effort. That's really wonderful. If you think it's got to be hard to work. I'm sorry to tell you it doesn't have to be but what it does have to be is you have to do it long enough to see the results you want and you will see the results you want if you do it long enough period end of story.
[00:57:00] [00:56:59] Absolutely, what's in store for you? What's in store for you? I mean you've obviously competed you have your pro card which by the way I have to say this and then I'm going to let you talk. I promise I have professional bodybuilders on this show all the time because and the analogy I give is if you want to learn how to play the piano.
[00:57:21] Are you going to take lessons from the guy next door to you who plays slightly better than you or you gonna go to somebody who makes a living? Playing the piano for the Philharmonic. Well, if you want to redesign your body, are you going to go to somebody who clearly doesn't look like they know what they're doing because their body kind of sucks or you going to go to somebody who's actually done it in a professional level.
[00:57:45] They know what to do to make muscles bigger and fat disappear and that's why we have to look at our body builders today. To understand that they know how to get a body to respond because they're going to step on a stage [00:58:00] and win a contest with that. So that's why it's even more important. You may say.
[00:58:04] Oh, I never want to be a bodybuilder Tammy's that's not going to work for you. No, no Tammy is the piano player that plays for the Philharmonic and you want to take lessons from her. Okay. So what do you got? What do you gold moving forward right now? Well by you know, as you know, I did this recently did a photo shoot and one of my goals last year was didn't do the photo shoot and get published in the magazine.
[00:58:28] So them published in the magazine didn't happen this year still working on so I rolled it over into my next year goals. So if you don't meet a goal just roll it over right? I know it's going to happen. I believe it's going to happen. I put that out to the universe I pray about it and it's going to happen.
[00:58:45] So if some sometimes it'll be published in some sort of magazine about you do another photo shoot and just have so much fun doing it. I enjoy it. I love the camera. I love the people that I work with. I love to do speaking engagements. I really have been praying about this [00:59:00] and that's on my I am vision board.
[00:59:02] Go aboard whatever you want to call it, right speaking engagements to high schoolers the especially you know the girls. All the eating disorders and talk to them about nutrition in our bodies. That's what one of my goals churches get my business up and going to school to be an esthetician. So I want to know work out of my house a couple days and work someplace else a couple days.
[00:59:25] So those are some of them but the most important ones is I'd really like to get my message out there to younger women and older women because I can relate to them. I can relate to what they're going through. As you can relate to the body changes how our skin starts to affect. That's why I wanted to go into aesthetic is because in my fitness I can change the whole lives by the mail plan by training whatever that might be but now a sin x I can it's a whole different level, uh you and now it's talking about your face and your body and all that and it makes me happy that change someone's life.
[01:00:00] [01:00:00] It's more it's about them. It's not about me. So really likes all about so earlier you mentioned that you know, you've you sleep. Well, do you have any things rituals? Do you have tricks? Do you have things that you do consistently night in and night out to ensure that you get a good night sleep.
[01:00:19] I mean it could be as little as I lower the thermostat to 67. I Like It Cool in the house when I sleep anything that you do. At night time. Yeah to help you sleep. Praying my IR Berger and I pray in the morning right thing down and I'm a journal. I love to write things down. Like I have my perjury or four years and go back and look and see what was actually was going in my life at that time.
[01:00:42] But all the same I pray in the morning and their prey at night and I'm going to bed and you see it is and that's it not complicated. I have a feeling you don't watch much television. I don't even have cable people come over. They go on. Let's [01:01:00] watch the game. I'm sorry. I don't have cable. I don't I just I just don't have time in my life for it.
[01:01:06] I don't sit down and watch TV. I'd rather be doing something being productive talking to somebody praying for somebody doing my work. I still have to do, you know going to the gym making my mails whatever it is. I rarely I rarely sit down interesting. That's really cool. Right now I'm just I'm sitting down talking to you, but that would be the and they sit down today.
[01:01:30] So I'll be running around and you've been sitting down talking to me for almost two hours now because the first 15 minutes of the show, we lost so right right and you've been a real you've been a real peach for sticking with it here today and getting this tape. So I really appreciate that. So it's been often awesome.
[01:01:47] It's been my pleasure. I love talking about Fitness and I love talking about my journey. And if I can reach other women in my in the process and they can reach out to me that's wonderful and they've done my job. So like I said, [01:02:00] it's not it's not about me go to Tammy's Facebook page. It's Tammy Lynn l YN nesland and ESL UND and look at the pictures of her and.
[01:02:14] Friend her on Facebook communicate with her and watch for what she's working on and where she's going and I'm telling you. I I watched a me for probably the past six months. I knew right away that she knew the secret and the secret is consistently consistently doing the same things day in and day out and letting them work their magic and not hopping from one thing to another.
[01:02:41] And there is so much so much value in just that message, you know when I became 330 pounds. I consistently ate more than I needed to day in and day out for a decade a decade. Right think about that. So [01:03:00] if and the reverse happened when I stopped eating and it stopped eating the garbage I started training and I started paying attention to things that make me healthy and I lost a hundred pounds, but it took me two years right took me two years and take all that waiting for you put on all that.
[01:03:17] We did it no time for you to reverse that process. If they just trust the process. I know we're not the first individual see to talk about. And we're not certainly not going to be the last but consistency trusting the process and we know I know it's worked. I've been there. I know it works it just stick with it find yourself a good find yourself a mentor on yourself.
[01:03:41] When I am glad you mentioned about connecting with the same people when I. I set my mind to I wanted to turn pro that year. I turned Pro. So I research in who am I going to do? Am I going to get I need to find somebody who's been in the street and knows what they're doing who knows the process who [01:04:00] knows they're males and can do it from their research.
[01:04:02] They found that sauce and I turned Pro that year, but I connected myself with people who have been there people have done it. People are saying I'm not going to go out and find a trainer or a nutritionist. That doesn't know what he's talking about in think I'm going to turn pro. Right? Who did you work?
[01:04:19] Who did you work with plug them? That's God. He's amazing from Washington State and Vanessa his fiancee and she turned Pro as well. And he's had many Pros underneath me. So I was his first pro. So it's pretty interesting, but he's an amazing guy. He does long distance plans and nutrition so you can look them up on Facebook.
[01:04:39] It's geoss but you have to can I still see still coaches me to the state because you have to be accountable to somebody you can't do it alone. You can't think it can do it by yourself. You everybody needs to be accountable to somebody everybody needs to call you out. We need to be called out.
[01:04:58] Interesting. [01:05:00] Well, this has been an exciting discussion. It really has and I hope that it leads to more exciting discussions because I really think that women are being taken advantage of by the diet industry. And the reality is you don't need any diet products at all. You just need to limit the number of food you eat week in and week out strive to eat every two and a half hours small meals.
[01:05:24] Be consistent with your training be consistent with your sleep and fall in love with the process set small goals. Like for me being a guy adding weight to the bar was my small progress that I kept my eye on I didn't keep my eye on my body fat. I never I never paid attention. In fact, I very rarely weigh myself to this day.
[01:05:47] I get on the scale and I'm always within the same. Couple pounds north or south of the same numbers. I don't feel like I have to weigh myself, but what I see in the mirror, I want to change but set up small goals for yourself and [01:06:00] use use the you know goals can be simple things. Like I'm going to prep food and eat my meals.
[01:06:07] For 30 days without missing a beat and then at the end of 30 days be excited that you actually did something that 99.999. I sound like Herman Cain now percent of the population failed to do in this is why they have the problems they have right? Absolutely. It's because like I said, we're a throwaway Society.
[01:06:29] It's not working. Let's try another one or that diet didn't work. Well, you know quit calling it a tie. It's eating healthy at the healthy lifestyle. Right? It's really what it's all about. Right, you know, and I believe too that the struggles that we go through the pain the struggle the dark ties days, even it with you're going to call it a nutrition and healthy.
[01:06:47] The struggles are going to go through now, you're going to build your character. You're going to come out so far above everything that you'll be amazed if you just be consistent and band enjoyed the [01:07:00] set might sound odd to for everybody else, but enjoy the. Just say thank you. Well, I'm going through a struggle and a hard time or a dark place.
[01:07:09] I just say thank you Lord and move forward because it's building my character. They go along the way right right pane is growth provoking three, actually Tammy. Thanks for being on the show. Thanks for being so patient with all the problems. We had. Okay. It was my pleasure. I'm very favorites have been on the show the very first one this year.
[01:07:27] So, thank you. Take care. All right. Take care. That's it. For today's show. We've got good shows tomorrow. I'm going to be talking about the keto diet a good friend of mine has written a book Jamie cepero. So actually Ultra simplifying a diet that's designed to be simple. But so many people want to make money at the keto diet.
[01:07:50] So they have to make it harder. You know how to fast Jamie's come up with a really quick book. You can read it in an afternoon. It's give you everything you need. We're going to be talking about that tomorrow because there are still people [01:08:00] out there who want to do keto I don't believe keto is good long-term.
[01:08:03] I've said that before I think it's good to phase it in and phase it out of you. Because that probably would have more mimicked the way it happened to us from an evolutionary perspective. But Jamie debunks, how did you keto and to do it right and to do it easily because it's all about doing the right things long enough.
[01:08:28] To see results will see everybody tomorrow with more superhuman radio. Thanks to list for listening today. And here's to a fantastic 2019 for all of us. Stay superhuman.
