SHR # 2379 :: My Neuroplastic Adventure
Show Notes:
[6:14] Victor’s journey started out as a quest to stall blindness.
- The steps he has uncovered are important for brain health.
[7:48] The eye is the only part of the brain that you can see.
[8:16] David Webber’s “use it or lose it” approach to blindness.
- He used unconscious methods to draw blood into the eye.
- He also used techniques such as palming to relax the eye.
[11:45] Eyeglasses lock your eyes into an unnatural groove.
- This causes unidentified eye strain.
[14:00] Nobody is exercising their eyes.
- Pencil pushups are a great exercise for the eyes.
[16:22] Neuroplasticity and peptides.
- Epitalon has been shown to improve eyesight.
- Retinamolin is a retinal bioregulator peptide.
- Things that stimulate neuroplasticity are best used intermittently.
- Adaptations always occur after stimulation.
- Melatonin stalls the progression of retinitis.
- Natural light first thing is the morning is important.
[29:07] Vincent’s exercise of using an analog clock.
- It allows the brain to become accustomed to time/space and time awareness.
[43:20] Relau effect.
- Blood cells get thick and stack on each other.
- Grounding and PEMF reduces this effect.
- Vincent has been experimenting with the Blueshield device.
[55:48] The eye exercises’ effect on Vincent.
- They have reduces his prescription by 33%.
- Fixing health problems is a multi-pronged stategy.
[1:09:36] Psychedelics and neuroplasticity.
- In 2013 it was shown that chronic use of LSD allows the left and right hemispheres of the brain to collaborate.
- Carl is not convinced that microdosing LSD is the way to go though.
