  • Rob has spoken on this in the past, but he hasn’t addressed doing weighted calisthenics.
  • Buy a weight vest that starts light and allows you to add weight over time.

  • Do individualize it for you.
  • Instead of doing the same session twice per week do speed work or something different on your second session.

  • Realize that the game is still the same, but that you have changed.
  • Your kidneys don’t work as efficiently as you age.
  • Don’t do a lot of something that you aren’t accustomed to or haven’t done in a long time.
  • CK levels usually run higher in athletes.
  • Myoglobin is a better indicator of rhabdo.
  • Creatine supplementation actually helps if anything.
  • Tribulus slashes CK levels in athletes.
  • TB-4 is worth looking into if you have kidney damage.

[32:02] Why doesn’t curcumin work as well as synthagen for muscle damage and DOMS?

  • Synthagen is not a single ingredient and does not have the bioavailability issues of curcumin.
  • It is also not a painkiller.
  • It also helps to ensure optimal energy state of your cells.
