SHR # 2627 :: We Pay Homage to Bodybuilding Legend Chet Yorton + Sports-specific Training for Baseball Players + How to Turn Ground Beef Into Gourmet

Share

Ron Penna – Dan Kopitzke – Corey Conklin

The Father of Natural Bodybuilding Chester “Chet” Yorton passed away in his home last week. His contributions to Bodybuilding are innumerable. He was very modest about his career, but had every reason to be proud. Perhaps the most fascinating turn of events was is his influence on the “Austrian Oak” Arnold Schwarzenegger. You see Yorton both aided Arnold when he arrived in the USA and then the all-natural Yorton beat him in the 1966 NABBA Mr. Universe, which Arnold admitted, changed the way he viewed bodybuilding forever. PLUS Baseball is a popular sport and everyone wants to be the best baseball player they can. What training tricks in the gym will influence your abilities on the field? Listen and learn. PLUS Ground beef is the least expensive beef you can buy. Even I get tired of eating ground beef. Here are some tips on seasoning your ground beef that will have you eating it for every meal and falling in love with it all over again. Some questions answered on today's show

Aaron Van Cleff
I’m closing in on 40 and thinking about re-vamping my training because I keep getting hurt. Is that typical? Because I see some older guys who don’t look hurt and they haven’t changed anything that I can see..

Larry Rinaldi
I got an email about a cyclodextrin Turkesterone product. Is it legit, and would it be worth the money?

Page Faulkenberg
Great show and I never miss an episode! My question has to do with Cissus – what’s the active ingredient? Would it just be better if I bought a bunch in bulk vs. capsules?

Kip Fry
Question for you on adaptogens. I’m planning on using some, Ecdy in particular. I know from your past shows its not going to be Dbol, but what am I looking for??

Phil Hickerson
I’m looking to put on as much muscle as possible, with minimum fat gain as I’m naturally a big person. What do I need to do, diet wise? Keto seems to be the big craze right now, so should I be on that?
