Kratom is a very misunderstood plant. Many think that because it interacts with the opioid receptor that it must be like opioids. Kratom’s analgesic effects are undeniable. But its ability to improve mood and focus is not something you’d expect from a plant the kills pain like an opioid. So would it be a good pre-workout? Especially for us older athletes?
