Quoting JP:
AGA certified meat not the only 100% grassfed meat on the market. ....Eat Wild has a list of many other sources as well. Please do a little homework.

It always frustrates me when people post that I should do some homework on a subject. if they feel I've not covered a toipic the way THEY would have covered it. First of all AGA is the ONLY group pushing back at the USDA to change their LOOSE GrassFed Certification.. NO ONE ELSE IS. We talked about the GAP4 and GAP5 Certs as being great and that Whole Foods offers this. As for homework.. I've been consuming and promoting GF Beef and milk from GF pastured cows since 2005. No one gave a crap about it then. I think I've done at least a little homework.. This show was supposed to make people ask the right questions and not just accept the GrassFed Beef Label as a general truth in accuracy.
If its your objective to be insulting you've done it.

AGA certified meat not the only 100% grassfed meat on the market. If a company makes the label claim of 100% grassfed and finished then it is 100% grassfed and finished.AGA certified meat is only a fraction of the truly grassfed meat market.

A great source of 100% grassfed & finished meat in the western US is Panorama Meats. They only sell organic 100% grassfed beef. No hormones. No antibiotics. No silage. No grain, corn or soy. They are not AGA certified. But they are GAP rated Step 4 in Whole Foods Markets.

My family eats their beef because I know and believe in where comes from.

I think the key to for consumers is to ask the right questions of the butcher. "Is this meat grassfed & finished?"

So to say that AGA certification is the end all to the market is an overinflated statement.

Eat Wild has a list of many other sources as well. Please do a little homework.
