- You can lower total calories or shorten the weekend carb refeed.
- After the refeed has been shortened, cut down on the junk carbs.

- The drug use of the athletes was not really addressed in the documentary, nor did it need to be.

- Rob enjoys stimulants because of his introverted nature. Stims raise his demeanor and engagement.
- DMAA’s crash is too hard.
- Craze was a good pre workout, but the body builds up a tolerance to those designer stims pretty quickly.
[37:36] Specialization tips. Are body part specialization programs a waste of time?
- Calves require a very novel stimulus to grow.
- Try heavy static loads or jump soles.
- The neck and forearms will grow pretty easily whenever they are trained regularly like every other bodypart.
- These programs are valuable if you have a lagging body part.
[41:36] Quality Tribulus.
- The three products that are worth using are Tribestin, Adaptogen-N, and V-MO herbs Bulgarin Trib.
- Tribulus is not necessarily a great testosterone booster.
- It is great for increasing N.O. production, IGF-1 increases, Anaerobic power increases, Libido increases, and acts as a great fertility agent in men.
- Fenugreek also contains ferostenolic saponins, the active ingredient in Bulgarian Tribulus.
- Tribulus Alatus is actually a solid test booster.
[48:55] Benefits of barbell and trap bar deadlifts.
- Trap bar deadlifts allow you to lift around 7% more than conventional deadlifts and has less of a lower back contribution.
- Sumo Stance allows for a shorter range of motion.
- Trap bar deads are better for older lifters.
- The barbell deadlift allows for good lat engagement and involves more lower back than the trap bar.
[55:00] Cardio for women? My wife won’t lift weights.
- Women need to lift weights.
- Traditional cardio can be catabolic.
- Try heavy lifting 1x/week and Lactic acid tolerance training 2x/week.
[1:10:42] Tip of the day: get comfortable being uncomfortable.
- Progress requires you to get out of your comfort zone.
- Make the effort to get outside of this zone in order to better yourself in whatever endeavor you choose.
