- Squat – 800 pounds
- Deadlift – 650 pounds
- Bench – 400 pounds

“You can follow the rules and do it the way that everybody else does. But if you are going to unlock your own potential, you have to find your own way.”
[00:08:00] Bud competed in, amongst others,
- Power lifting.
- Highland games.
- Kettlebell lifting.
- Highlands wrestling.
[00:10:28] Bud elaborates how he pressed a 300-pound guy overhead, with one arm, for a breast cancer fundraiser.
[00:12:27] Bud did a squat from the bottom position, with 1000 pounds on his shoulders, the culmination of a personal quest of 16 years to make that lift.
