[00:00:00] Welcome back to another episode of superhuman radio at the beginning of the year and we are knocking it out of the park with the shows that we've been doing the past few days helping a lot of people become motivated. And once you're motivated you got to know what to do with all that excitement and energy and that's where coach Rob Rajesh comes in.

[00:00:54] He will be on with me in just a moment because he is the guy who will teach you how to make the greatest amount of [00:01:00] gains in the fastest amount of time and let's face it that is ultimately what we all want to do. No one wants to go to the gym and waste time. We want to maximize our efforts and minimize our waste of time and that's what the blueprint Power Hour is all about before I get on with that.

[00:01:14] I want to mention to everybody that I have done something kind of stupid and it backfired on me, but it's okay, so. You know, I have Thrive protein which is really and I say this completely unabashedly I challenge anybody to show me a better protein supplement blend on the market today better than Thrive and compare the ingredient list of Thrive.

[00:01:40] You can go to thr IV protein.com to find out more to anything out there in the market and you will find out that nothing compares to thrive but as it suck it's a very expensive. To produce so I decided to offer the one-pound jug since you know, everybody keeps asking me well make [00:02:00] packets. So people can try it.

[00:02:02] Once they try it. They love it because it tastes good and it doesn't cause digestive problems. It has no gums. No thickeners none of that sort of stuff and no artificial flavors. No artificial sweeteners. It's sweetened with Glycine and Stevia the stuff's amazing. Okay. So people kept telling me why don't you make a little packet that you can send out so people can try it because once they tried to buy it and it's too expensive for me to do that right now.

[00:02:25] So I decided I know what I'll do. I pay $11 and change for one pound jug. I'll just walk it up actually two dollars. I'm selling it for 1395. So I thought I was making three I just realized no I'm making closer to two and change. And I figured I would do that as a loss leader because if I can get a pound jug in somebody's hand then they'll try it.

[00:02:50] They'll use it for a while. They'll go. Wow. This stuff is great and they'll keep reordering it because that's what happens when I don't even talk about Thrive and I have people who are on auto-ship that reorder every single month [00:03:00] to three for three pound jugs of it. well. I didn't realize that people would order multiple jugs.

[00:03:08] I've got orders coming in four six eight ten pounds of Thrive at a time and I'm making two bucks a pound on it. I told Lisa I said man, this is really discouraging and she said yeah, but Thrive is good. Don't you want people to try it don't you want them to experience what you know, it does and I said, yes, so take advantage of me.

[00:03:32] Take advantage of this offer right now. If you go to thrive protein thr IV protein.com and use the code thr IV 2019, you'll get one or as many one pound jugs that you want. Is that 1395oo? 1399. Don't don't beat me up over the pennies. I remember I don't remember what it is. That is literally two dollars and change over what I paid.

[00:03:55] Dr. Jeff golini to manufacture it that's not even him shipping it because it stays there. That's [00:04:00] the pure manufacturing cost. So I'm not making anything in the end of the day, but I'm convinced that once you try it you will see what other people have seen use it pre workout. You'll find out that you can train long.

[00:04:13] Use it as your post-workout meal you'll recover faster. And if you don't believe me, look at the ingredients and Thrive and look at the research on each ingredient Thrive is based on the things that are in human breast milk. I can't take credit for the genius behind Thrive Mother Nature has to take that so check it out.

[00:04:35] Calling all blueprint Army fall in line. It's time for the blueprint Power Hour with Coach Rodriguez on the Superhuman radio network.

[00:04:48] Then the first show of the new year blueprint power. Happy New Year coach Rob. How you doing? Happy New Year to you too. Hey, that's a griffin incredible price on Thrive. I did a mistake by you know, [00:05:00] I figured people who have never tried it would just order one pound because they be like, okay and we have like a special flat rate shipping, you know, it was for one pound but the shipping only goes up like $2 for every day every pound that you add to it and I got people emailing me from.

[00:05:20] From the Netherlands from the UK from from Ireland. They're like, can I get 10 pounds? What would this the shipping be? It's like it's cheaper to buy 10 pounds this way and pay the shipping than two by two predator. Yeah, wow, that's and you know what? I'll second everything you said about Thrive and people know I've come on here before and I've endorsed Bass Pro away and Ultra peptide 2.0.

[00:05:46] They literally can't hold a candle to thrive because within their including the essential amino. Brilliant, so hopefully people check it out because I know once somebody uses it. I'm already getting emails from [00:06:00] people saying when they opened the jug it smells like vanilla cake. I said, yeah. I know it's amazing.

[00:06:05] It smells great. Yeah The Taste of something else. Yeah. So anyway, so what's going on with you? What? How is the new year treating you so far? Thus far I haven't heard a back injury smack-dab in the middle of my last loading pattern which was going to bring me to my goal, but took some of my own advice.

[00:06:26] I did walks everyday got to Chiropractic adjustments and. One week later. I was a hundred percent and I picked up right where I left off in my, you know box squats. So when I let me let me let me ask you something. Do you think you would have recovered as fast if you would have done what the average person does following your doctor's advice to rest sit in the chair.

[00:06:52] Don't lift anything strength. Don't do anything strenuous. Don't lift anything. Absolutely not. I've done the same thing to my back [00:07:00] many many times and I can tell you that without will walk with other quality Chiropractic adjustment. It takes anywhere from two weeks to two months for the same injury to resolve and I can I can honestly tell you.

[00:07:18] Every time I did walk itself a little better and a little better and because you can do them every day. The movement is restorative, you know before I knew it. I was back you a hundred percent. I even gave it an extra day. You know, I like to feel a hundred percent for one full day before I go back in So conceivably it could have been less.

[00:07:41] But a week if you can imagine that now imagine combining that with peptides like bpc 157 or growth hormone. I mean you could recover in three or four days from injuries now, it's literally like you were young again, right literally like you were young. Well, I got [00:08:00] cleared to go back to the gym and I went one day and took three days off one another day and then this week actually I went Friday Saturday Sunday.

[00:08:09] Took off Monday. When today I feel like somebody turned the lights back on in my life. This doctor didn't want me to train. I kept hounding him and after two weeks. He said okay, but do not put your foot down on the ground. I said, I won't I says I won't he goes out of you know, I don't want to regret this lating you guys said please just let me get back in the gym.

[00:08:28] I'll tell you something else. I'm sure. That the training that is causing the recovery. Of my body is affecting the recovery of my foot as well positive of it and your mind and I and listen to me. I was Dragon a couple weeks ago. I was miserable a couple weeks ago.

[00:09:15] [00:09:00] The best antidepressant there is ditto ditto. Do we have any specials right now and with that coach Rodriguez.com we need to talk about before we get on to. No specials, but I will tell you this 2019 is going to see a lot of change in my business model and that starts with the website. So I don't want to let all the the Secret's out but suffice it to say there are some very good very positive things coming in the world of blueprint the blueprint bulletin and my other products and services.

[00:09:48] That's awesome. That's awesome. So. Andre Rieu some off. Am I saying that right Russell muff gruesome of he says I lift weights, but I'm not a weightlifter per [00:10:00] se I do to increase my endurance competing in triathlons. Could move. Can you tell me something I can take that will reliably improve my times.

[00:10:11] Yeah, so although endurance exercise isn't really my my area. I did come across some interesting info when I was looking more into beta alanine and touring displacement just to recap that part of it taking too much. You know, let's call it over five or six grams of beta-alanine, you know doing all that at once can cause touring displacement which.

[00:10:38] Can lead the mineral and electrolyte imbalances which in turn lead to heart rhythm disturbances. Now, I actually purposefully did this. After reading about it, and I can tell you it's hundred percent true and it didn't take long to show up like 2 to 3 days. So be aware of that with your beta alanine doses [00:11:00] be that as it may supplementing with touring has been shown to pretty reliably increase endurance times and the latest research in so far as how much and how often is surprise.

[00:11:13] So Sports scientists at st. Mary's University in London came to that conclusion and The Meta study that has been published in the Journal sports medicine a single dose is little as a single dose of 1 gram of Tory taken before workout or competition works. Just as well as higher doses taken by athletes over a longer period the researchers Trace 10 previously published human studies and in those studies, they sometimes looked at the speed but usually the endurance of our test.

[00:11:53] Now interestingly enough the dose varied from one all the way up to six grams of taurine [00:12:00] per day in Six studies the subject receive a single dose and in four studies, they took the supplement several days in a row. The meta-analysis showed that supplementation with taurine indeed improves sport performance both in power.

[00:12:20] And endurance exercise but the effects varied from small to large. So again the single dose of taurine one gram taken before the test was just as effective as a two week. Protocol where they took six grams of taurine spread throughout the day. So what does this tell us tells me it has an acute effect when taken prior just prior to exercise so I would tell you this I would tell you touring.

[00:12:54] Have potential and if it has it in many areas those include everything from [00:13:00] more testosterone to Greater cell swelling to less muscle breakdown to Greater endurance. If you are into supplement supplementing individual amino acids, it is one of the best and gratefully one of the cheapest especially when buying in bulk, so I hope that helps I would also tell you.

[00:13:23] Professor and rope Del Musa over at supper city has reviewed a lot of studies on taurine and he has come to the same conclusion. It's pretty amazing. So and if you want to get fancy, you can stack that with quercetin. And rhodiola, rosea Rosalia which have both been shown to increase endurance in endurance trained athlete.

[00:13:45] So that's a couple things you can stack with it. But yeah turing's amazing. And you know, the funny thing is I'm not doing cardio yet cuz my foot is still bandaged up in a cast, but you reminded me that I'm going to start taking touring once I start doing my cardio again. [00:14:00] Awesome, isn't it funny?

[00:14:02] We've talked about touring since we were on the boards at mind and muscle and and we forget about it because something something new comes out and we forget about taurine and then we read about it again and go. Oh, yeah taurine and we take it for a while and then we forget about it's funny how these things ebb and flow back into our regimens over the years as a.

[00:14:21] Right, right, and and you know what? Look, it works. Right? It's economical. It makes all the sense in the world to use it extend and it stands it has withstood the test of time like you and I were on the boards 20 years ago and taurine was being talked about for endurance. And here we are almost 20 years later.

[00:14:43] And it's like a taurine is good for endurance psycho. Yeah, why are we why are we not taking it every day, you know and prior to that doctor dipasquale wrote an entire book about amino acids in the coffee cold at the anabolic Edge it is [00:15:00] still. A must read for those interested in the Minos and performance.

[00:15:04] I've reached out to him. I wished I reached out to him a couple three months ago to get him back on the show. I emailed him to wish him a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I got a call Randy Roach today. Actually. I'm going to make a note for myself because I have not been able to reach dr.

[00:15:19] Depasquale. I hope everything is good with him. I know his wife Bonnie was in remission from breast cancer. Oh, I just hope everything's okay with them. My kindly says on your advice. I recently started taking a necktie stare on step supplement. There's no question. I feel better after training.

[00:15:36] It's doing something so that I can bounce back faster. But what I've noticed as something else my joints feel better. Is this Placebo? Is there really something to this? Yeah, a long story short your mind is not playing tricks with you. There's definitely research showing that XD helps joints and in particular cartilage so [00:16:00] endocrinologist at the University of göttingen Germany reach that conclusion from experiments.

[00:16:06] They did with rats now, you know lifters are familiar with the muscle growth or at least the dramatic. Improvement in recovery effect from acne supplements but according to the Germans it may also help strengthen joints and Bones. So what they were doing was they were studying dietary changes that can help women maintain strength and health after menopause, you know, the decline of sex hormones in postmenopausal women.

[00:16:38] Reduces massive strength and muscle and Bones much the way andropause doesn't matter. There may also be a relationship between reduced estradiol production and arthritis and because animal Studies have shown that be and it's related compounds of anabolic effects. The Germans did [00:17:00] tests on female rat.

[00:17:02] Whose hormone producing ovaries have been totally removed. So what they wanted to know was whether XD protected the rats bones and joints they were not disappointed. So here's the deal the experiment last three months one group of rats got food that had three 3 grams per kilogram of XD added to it.

[00:17:24] So they eat about 17 grams of Food daily. Meaning they consumed about fifty three milligrams of XD per day. That's pretty close to the suggested human dose of five. I think it's five milligrams per kilogram. Anyway, another group of rats Lab Rats were given food with synthetic estradiol added to it.

[00:17:49] They got a daily dose of a hundred thirty-two micrograms of estradiol at the end of three months. They looked at the rats knee joints, and they saw [00:18:00] that the cartilage in the rap that have been given active and grown. You know whenever you've got right bones are in contact with each other as in the joint the covered with that layer of cartilage cartilage They concluded that XD thickens that layer they also checked whether XD had an estrogenic effect.

[00:18:23] It did not and referring to the literature. They suggested that actually works through the retinoid X receptor. I'm not so sure that I agree. I think there are multiple Pathways that it works for what the point is it works. Here's the bottom line. I don't know that it would be my first pick maybe for joint health, but it is certainly a player it also in this is what's important to remember about it.

[00:18:53] It also works to replenish ATP and phosphagen. So the muscle cell increases [00:19:00] intracellular calcium stores. Which you know what happens to those when you train and it has pretty prolific antioxidant activity among other attributes. So by all means I would tell you to keep taking it because I am firmly convinced more research will continue to find more benefits way underrated compound.

[00:19:26] We are going to take our first commercial break. Right and when we come back, we have a question from I passed it by Randy Hales. You're listening to the blueprint power our here at superhuman radio stay tuned. We'll be right back. Welcome back. So, you know, I'm listening to you talk about. The retinoid X receptor and I'm thinking retinoid X receptor retinol retinol like acid vitamin A, you know activated vitamin E.

[00:19:57] There may be a benefit to actually taking activists are [00:20:00] owned with retinol or retinol like acid because it enhances the 9C is form of retinoic acid. That is the true binder to the retinoid X receptor. It wouldn't surprise me because back t plus vitamin D has additive effects and there's some research showing that in the absence of vitamin D XD connect as a standard I would start so which of your products has equity in it, both math Pro synth engine and progenitors risk, which is the one that I took that made me feel so good and I recovered so fast that was progenitor X, right.

[00:20:44] No, I was like you said I would marry. Okay. So for those of you listening to the show right now who are Avid users of mass Pro synth engine and if you've been using it for a while, so you already know what to expect I would like you to [00:21:00] stack 20,000 I use of real vitamin A retinol or retinol look acid 20,000.

[00:21:06] I use a real vitamin D3 and have some fat. I've a fatty meal or something maybe some eggs, when you take those things along with your maspero synth engine and I'd like you to do that for four to six weeks and tell me if you notice like it's ramped up its effects on you. I have a funny feeling that if you include real vitamin A and as you point out real vitamin D.

[00:21:38] And a fatty meal because those are fat soluble supplements so that you have to activate the lymphatic system that is further down in the intestines that absorbs fat. I have a feeling that you're going to actually turbocharge your mass percentage in that is a great idea [00:22:00] and somewhat scary if it works.

[00:22:02] Well, yeah, could you imagine I know?

[00:22:07] Great great Insight. Thank you. Okay. So next question comes from Randy Hales. He says I've heard you speak about Ibuprofen before and its effects on protein synthesis not good parenthetically, how bad do you think it is though enough to notice? You know, I'll be honest and tell you I'm not sure how big the effect is but given how difficult it is to grow muscle, you know, anything that impairs protein synthesis to any degree in my mind isn't good, you know, it can be just just enough to slow or stop muscle growth all together and some recent research points to just how bad it is.

[00:22:51] So if you take ibuprofen. Brace yourself for what follow so we know there are quite a few athletes to take [00:23:00] painkillers just before training or competition and so by suppressing the pain of exertion old injuries or overworked joints allow them to perform better in the short term in the longer term those same athletes May according to a Danish Danish research research is me.

[00:23:23] Certainly published lower their test levels significantly. So what these Danish endocrinologist did was that they were affiliated with the University of Copenhagen. They divided 31 healthy men ages and remember these ages 18 to 35 into two groups one group got a dose of 600 milligrams of ibuprofen twice a day.

[00:23:50] Every day for six weeks. That's a maximum dose according to the pharmaceutical industry. The other group took a placebo. [00:24:00] Here are the results after two weeks of ibuprofen the concentration of luteinizing hormone, which is the hormone that lets the body produce more testosterone or signals it increase significantly in the blood of a mountain and after six weeks.

[00:24:18] That affect have become even greater. Now that sounds good. Right on the surface of things not so fast, the concentration of testosterone did not increase. So we need to ask ourselves. Why? It turns out as men age. Their testicles have more and more trouble maintaining right healthy test levels.

[00:24:42] So in the first stages of this hormonal aging process. Because of the increased loosening luteinizing hormone level the release of test remains constant at a later stage. However, the testicles become insensitive [00:25:00] to even this extra luteinizing hormone and reduce the release of testosterone the testosterone levels then drop here's what's important to remember it seems long term use.

[00:25:16] A high dose of ibuprofen imitates and maybe even accelerate that Endocrinology aging process and remember these study participants were relatively young men 18 to 35 in affect the level of ibuprofen use resulted in what the authors deemed as induced hypogonadism. Adding further to that concern when the researchers experimented with pieces of human testicles in test tubes.

[00:25:51] They saw that the production of test was reduced by ibuprofen very reliably the effect became stronger [00:26:00] as the concentration of ibuprofen became higher and as the exposure lasted longer so long story short both in the test tube and in the young human. The more ibuprofen the less testosterone. in my mind that explains nicely why protein synthesis takes, you know, such a whack.

[00:26:23] Well protein synthesis also takes a whack because. Inflammation is the alarm Bell for the body to repair muscle and if you turn that off you turn off you turn off the body up regulating and an overreaching response to build more muscle, but interestingly enough to go hand-in-hand with what you just said.

[00:26:46] We talked about on Casual Friday a couple years ago a study that showed that women pregnant mothers who turn to ibuprofen which they recommended to take for pain the the [00:27:00] their testosterone levels dropped and the testosterone levels of The Offspring was affected there was there was a less testicular development in boys.

[00:27:12] Right. So yes these things and and here and you know, one of the things you need to understand is aroma taste. Is Downstream from cyclooxygenase? Now Aroma taste plays a role in. And anabolism people who think it's all about testosterone wrong. Anybody who's ever raise cows knows if you give a cow just Trend blown it will gain x amount of muscle.

[00:27:41] But if you give that cow Trend ballon plus estradiol benzoate, it will gain five times the amount of muscle. So everybody thinks oestrogen is a woman's hormones get rid of it get rid of it. No estrogen in and of itself is anabolic and lie political. It's actually possibly the most underestimated hormone.

[00:28:00] [00:28:00] Our goals of building muscle and burning fat, but with that being said cyclooxygenase is one of the enzymes in the p450 cytochrome enzyme Cascade. It is the precursor. To estrogen to aromatase when you blunt cyclooxygenase you shut off the production of aromatase. So I'm sure that that has a role in this whole hormonal conundrum that these nonsense these NSAIDs are affecting testosterone levels.

[00:28:32] I'm positive of it positive of it. So anyway, okay, Dave Watkins says I'm a big believer in glutamine, but I've heard you rail against it. It's still out there for sale many years later. So must be doing something. What are you basing your opinion on other than your own personal? I think good, you know good meal is a great example of something that looks like it should work but doesn't in the [00:29:00] real world and I'm basing that opinion on more than just my personal experience.

[00:29:05] I'm basing it on many people's experiences with it and the science. So let's get to some of that science because it really is pretty damning.

[00:29:18] So glutamine comes out on the hills of creatine and boy does it look good be case based on the early data. It was claimed that if you give athletes extra glutamine, they produce less cortisol, right during training the muscle cells convert less aminos into glucose and they synthesize more growth, you know, it can sympathize more growth hormone demonstrating that on strength athletes.

[00:29:48] Seems like just a mere formality. But because you have to go through the formalities Canadian scientists did an experiment in 2001 the involving 31 [00:30:00] male and female strength athletes. They too will they were very even younger than the prior study their between ages 18 and 24 so half of the subjects.

[00:30:12] We're given point nine grams of glutamine per kilogram lean body mass every day for six weeks that is equivalent to a whopping 45 grams of glutamine the day which is pretty much the highest dose. You can take without it becoming toxic and it is far more glutamine than almost anyone takes in the real world.

[00:30:36] So, you know, if it's going to work you think it would be now. The subjects divided the glutamine over two intakes one just after training and one just before going to sleep on the days. They didn't train they were allowed to take the daytime bills whenever they wanted but the nighttime ghost was taken at the same time as on training days, right [00:31:00] right before bed if you ask me those times.

[00:31:05] Sure would be the optimal ones to take it given its effect on growth hormone and some of the things the other half of half of the subjects were given a placebo results the placebo. Excuse me. The placebo group had exactly the same rate of progress is the glutamine Group by the end of the study. So here's the bottom line mega dosing glutamine does nothing for strength.

[00:31:34] Nothing zero. Zip. NADA didn't surprise me shouldn't surprise you as for still being on the market many years later. I have two thoughts on that. The first is you got to remember there's a new crop of gullible kids joining the market every year glutamine. It's going to look good to them. They're going to be exposed to many [00:32:00] articles.

[00:32:00] I still see huge articles on glutamine the magazines. They're going to be told it's the most abundant amino acid in muscle which is true. They're going to be told that raises growth hormone, which is always true. They're going to be told it halts catabolism. Maybe if you're a burn patient and it's conditionally essential so it must do something, right?

[00:32:23] Not so and I hope you don't waste any more money on glutamine proving that to yourself. I will say this the one area where glutamine really shines is if you have digestive issues Crone, I don't several people with crohn's that glutamine has been a near miracle for and in fact, if you look at the science most of the normal dose.

[00:32:48] Is each of the stomach lining Bingo and that's really the only reason you should take glutamine is if you have got problems really? Yeah. So look I was right there. I was taught on [00:33:00] glutamine when it came out. I did not get up to the 45 Grand level, but I did take 30 grams a day at various times and it was it was a waste of money.

[00:33:11] So I've only ever used glued. I remember when creatine first came out there. Like no, you gotta stack it with glutamine. That's the only way it works. I was like nah, just give me just give me the creatine. And the reality is that the only time I've taken glutamine and I've noticed quote-unquote noticed anything was when I had got problems.

[00:33:28] That's it. Yeah, there are some people that will tell you they take it when they're sick. There might be some evidence for that that lid limits muscle loss during you know, like the flu but you know, look there are better areas to spend your money Del mu so just did a post about a study that showed that taking tumeric with him, you know quantities of curcuminoids in them.

[00:33:55] And fish oil will preserve muscle mass during times of [00:34:00] injury. And ironically I take and I've talked about on my show in the past last year. I take that Kunal I buy that at Costco. It's a liquid and I take a shot glass of it. It's about 2,000 milligrams of a high concentrate in a delivery Matrix that gets it into your system.

[00:34:21] And I know it does because it literally comes out of my skin after a while if I take too much of it, but I would take in that fish oil and spms and I really haven't noticed that much muscle loss since I've been taking I was off from the gym for almost four weeks. Yeah, well, the anti catabolic effect of curcumin is well-established.

[00:34:40] You just need to make sure you get enough of it, right? It is taken either with black pepper extract or a fad. To for optimal absorption. Otherwise, it has horrible bioavailability and interestingly Kuhn all has by pyrene in it. And it also [00:35:00] has some sort of fat in it. It has an oil in it and it tastes great.

[00:35:04] It tastes like st. Joseph st. Joseph's baby aspirins. It's really really good. I enjoy taking. So you can actually see it like feel it coming on also, so I was actually taking two and three shots of it a day like just to see what would happen and so in the morning when we take our peptide shots, you know, I get the alcohol swab and Eliza goes which all that yellow stuff on the the paper towel.

[00:35:28] I'm like. I have no idea. So I took the paper towel and I looked at it. It was my fingerprints. So I took the paper towel in my hand and I just wiped the inside of the other hand and I looked at it was all yellow. So the curcumin was coming out of my skin is why I backed it down to just one shot a day.

[00:35:47] It was I know you and I want to use me as a frigging. Yeah, you could have turned bright orange if he said I was changed and she said, you know you just want after this happened. She looked at me. She said, [00:36:00] you know, you have kind of a an orange yellow cast to you right now. So I backed off it right away.

[00:36:08] I was like I actually took like a week off. And didn't take it for like a week. So it was literally coming out of my pores. Let's take a quick commercial break when we come back. We have a question from Dave Watkins. You're listening to the blueprint power brought to you by coach. Rob register.com.

[00:36:22] Go check it out. We'll be right back. Sorry. The next question is actually from Andrew Bates, but I have to say this so we have Jason Lulu who can't listen to the show live but posted this question on Facebook. He said we'll projected Rex ever becoming. To a distribution inside the United States, you know, I have tried and tried and tried but there was always an issue with brain is here having said that I would agree Jason that you know, it's long overdue.

[00:36:56] I will personally reach out to. The [00:37:00] CEO of Predator to see whether or not we can get it over here and and make it available because so what's the deal that Predator have the rights to sell it when you formulate it. Is that the deal? Well, no, I'm going to say that you know, they handle distribution.

[00:37:18] I don't think they would have an issue with us, you know selling it over here and. I would really love to do so because it is good as centage in is and you know how good it is progenitor X actually outsells it over at Predator. You can read the reviews for yourself. That is one tough skeptical group if it's got five star reviews.

[00:37:43] Through and through so and the form of that Keystone and that by the way is not Republican Carson Woods instead. We use Lex Ogen and which is an XD analog effective just as much much smaller milligram dose. [00:38:00] So if someone in the United States wanted to carry it if somebody said hey, we'll carry it would they would they be able to if you found if somebody reach out to you and says they will carry it.

[00:38:11] Absolutely, you know if you. I would personally do it myself but I hate going to the to the post office. Oh, I hear you brother shipping is the biggest pain in the ass in the world. I don't like it either. So let's yeah if somebody wants to handle distribution in the United States by all means reach out to me and I'll do whatever I can to make it happen because that's one product.

[00:38:32] I know when people try that will be coming back for more lakhs more. So Andrew Bates says I really like your new tranquil urgent. I seem to make progress faster in the weight room. I'm not as sore and my mood is better. I know you had to take P Camille and out, but which ingredient is primarily responsible and should I run it so low for lifting or with [00:39:00] other stuff stacked?

[00:39:01] I guess he me. I get this question a lot about my product but in particular centage and they're all like we know what is what is the ingredient that's really doing it and. The honest answer is the Debo. It's the table buddy Bowl that's in there. That's not on the label. That's what's doing ha ha but like all of my products tranquility and include the number of ingredients that exert the.

[00:39:32] You know that you're describing in order to determine what's doing what then we need to look at each probably a good refresher since we had to pull the pecan meal and out of the original but as you'll see that was really a blessing in disguise. So P chameleon was replaced with ashwagandha, and it is proved to be a great addition just as as an example in 130 days study.

[00:40:00] [00:40:00] Subject lean body mass Rose by about 2 kilograms for pounds and their fat percentage decreased by over two percentage points that might not sound like world record numbers, but they are realistic and sustainable a pound of muscle a week was conquered body fat loss is nothing to sneeze at.

[00:40:24] Ashwagandha has also been found to increase total test in some sports Studies by up to 40% Now that's pretty good. But even better and this was huge, it was found to work the other side of the coin meaning it reduced muscle damage as measured by my favorite creatine. Kinase. Okay. In fact in this is the mind-blowing.

[00:40:53] Part serum creatine kinase levels were just 1/10 that of the [00:41:00] placebo placebo group in that least one study that I reviewed that is huge. Absolutely huge it. We'll also soothe your mood. In fact, that's what ashwagandha is usually used for. It has seems to have a calming effect without sedation which makes it an awesome compliment to the you know, you've we talked about rhodiola earlier.

[00:41:27] We use the real deal Russian. Rhodiola. The rest of the formula is rounded out by curcumin. That's actually the number one ingredient and we all know all the different stuff at. 5-HTP and astaxanthin now most people that are frequent testing bodybuilding supplements.com jobs, you know masses line their habitual symptoms in users.

[00:41:52] We're TQ fits into the rotation. Is either one solo or alternatively a lot of people [00:42:00] stack it with sensitive and they can use up to 1/3 less intelligent by doing. So unbreakable is a term used by a lot of folks that stack both Peak. You can also be switched out with progenitor X in a stack with mass prosim pigeon meaning synth engine TQ 4.

[00:42:23] Recovery benefits even above and beyond simply Jim if you can imagine that and some hormonal optimization or sent the gym plus progenitor X for an all-hands-on-deck size and strength bulk. And that's a bulk by the way without the bulk coming on around your waist, which is probably progenitor X's best trick.

[00:42:49] Personal personally, you can't go wrong with with either. We're really proud of the new tranquility and and it's starting to really catch on so we may [00:43:00] do in fact. A combined Symphony and Tranquility of deal. So hopefully we're of course you get both bundled at a discount. So be listening for that.

[00:43:14] I hope we can get it done soon. Okay, so do you think I'd be ready for this? The next question comes from Jim last name is being it was requested to be. Withheld Jim. Jim says I compete in tested events, but like to try and beat the system. In fact, I'm pretty good at it. I won't divulge any of my tricks here.

[00:43:39] What can you tell me if the testers have ever been ahead of the dopers because it seems to me we're always one step ahead. Yeah, and you know what by and large I would have to agree athletes who dope they do seem to always be one step ahead of the testers [00:44:00] most of the time and it's that same almost.

[00:44:04] Both that makes athletes that use cringe because occasionally the testers will show up with something that they had never heard of before or have an answer to you is if that's you I'm afraid there's something else you may have to worry about soon a breathalyzer. For anabolic steroids and other banned drugs, so don't think letters from the German sport University cologne are developing a completely new type of doping test doesn't require sweat blood urine hair or mouth swabs either will enable doping Hunters to detect the use of anabolic.

[00:44:49] Like I said other banned substances, but it simply analyzing the breadth of athletes. So the German biochemist and doping hunter [00:45:00] Mario famous. He published a human study in the journal rapid Communications and mass spectrometry recently which delivered proof of principle and showed that the detection of banned substances.

[00:45:14] By analyzing someone's breath is possible and reliable in the publication. He speaks to amongst other things is that he collected a group of test subjects who use different various illegal substances, and then analyze their breath, he and his colleagues were able to detect meldonium. Dmaa with your member that now being stimulant and turn the ball and pseudoephedrine and presumably ephedra metabolites to in the breadth of their subject.

[00:45:52] Finally some commentary of my own stop doping. in tested competitions [00:46:00] man, you know if you're going to do--. Compete in the contest of events. It's a lot more even playing field, you know, personally. I was going to come out and say it I look down on people. like you, you know who are beating the system and tested events proclaiming themselves drug-free and.

[00:46:25] Obviously subverting other athletes who did train drug-free. I have a lot more respect for someone like Luis Simmons, who when he sat down with testosterone dotnet way back when and admitted to non using anabolic non-stop for almost 40 years. Okay, and he competes an untested events. He's he's not one of these Jokers who profess the fact that their.

[00:46:49] You know dope themselves to the gills and then pass the death the test due to some you know, she K Nuri it's just not cool. It's not [00:47:00] something that I like to see or even hear about, you know, if you're using competing in the contest of events, you know, don't be a don't be one of these total frauds.

[00:47:12] If they get a breathalyzer test for doping game over because right now the number one trick that professional athletes use. to beat doping tests that use urine is those drugs that they give to men who have incontinence. They pee all the time right there. Oh, you know, I can't think of the class of drugs.

[00:47:39] You don't see them advertised nearly as much as you used to but those drugs embargo. the kidneys. And that's how they keep you from peeing. And so like even if you even your blood pressure medication, if you take one of those drugs you you probably have to cut your blood pressure medication in a into [00:48:00] 1/3 of what you're taking because so much of it stays in you it doesn't get metabolized in urinated out.

[00:48:06] And so what they do is when they know that they have to go and be tested. They start two days before taking that particular prescription drug that keeps men from peeing all the time. And when they urinate nothing comes out nothing comes out. They Jimmy just urine. It's just water. It's just yet. I mean, it's sometimes it's even clearer than normal and it keeps everything blocked up inside the kidneys and they test negative for a variety of performance-enhancing drugs.

[00:48:33] I did an entire show on that probably 10 years ago with a guy from Bahrain. Who wanted to remain anonymous he worked with professional athletes in a variety of different disciplines? And he said this is the number one trick that athletes know about they just take that drug a couple days before testing and their urine is clean.

[00:48:55] Not only that but if this works the same as you know, the breathalyzer for drunk driving [00:49:00] the results are pretty much going to be instantaneous. Oh, yeah, you could you could test the guy right before competition. You can just walk in the back of them. Is he blowing this for a second? You know, none of this.

[00:49:09] None is go to the lab and all that other stuff. Yeah and think about that for a second that eliminates any challenge they can post the chain of custody. Eliminates a lot of problems it eliminates The Wiz inator. Yeah. Remember the Wiz inator? Yeah. I've heard of it people in the show don't know about it.

[00:49:30] It's a fake penis that you fill up. It has a bladder in it. You put it in your pants ahead of time and and cause a lot of those so when you have to give a urine test for drug abuse, Or for sports enhancing drugs. They actually have someone watch you urinate. They don't just send you into the bathroom and close the door.

[00:49:50] I say okay, you know privacy is important. We don't know they literally watch you pull your penis out of your pants and urinate and yeah. Yeah, and and [00:50:00] so and so they have a thing called The Wiz inator made specifically for athletes. It's very expensive. It's like $1,000. And it has a bladder that is underneath where your testicles would be and and you wear it as a belt that belts on around your ass kind of like a jockstrap would and persons watching and you pull out a very flaccid very flexible plastic rubber thing that looks like really like a human penis.

[00:50:29] And then as you're holding a penis you just press where your where your testicles would be and it starts to pay. Yeah, and and the end they even have synthetic urine that goes with it that you put in there because if you use one of your friends urine, you don't know if they're on a pharmaceutical drug or what they came in contact with you could end up testing positive anyway, so they actually have like synthetic urine.

[00:50:53] Well that has the specific gravity of your own the color of urine the smell of urine and you know and has certain things that they expect to be [00:51:00] in there. But nothing else and this is the extent that that professional athletes go to in order to beat drug tests. I've even I've even heard of inserting a catheter.

[00:51:16] And shooting clean urine into their bladder. Right before the test. I would believe that or even if she just didn't, you know just in well, but then some of the urine is going to come out with it. Yeah, well, it just goes to prove, you know to show you the step that athletes will go through the dope and not get caught.

[00:51:37] Yeah, it's a tough thing. It's tough thing. I we're going to take our last commercial break and when we come back, we got a really interesting. Blueprint tip of the day obviously to lead off the new year with Rob Reger stay tuned. We'll be right back. Welcome back to super human radio. This is the blueprint power which is always ended with the words of wisdom from coach.

[00:51:59] Rob [00:52:00] Reger should be tuning in for the first time. You're a newbie. Welcome to the show. What is the blueprint tip of the day coach Roy? Tip of the day is God's movie and why you need to hang in there to watch the ending. So by age 38, I stutter develop a feeling that things are my life work quite right.

[00:52:21] I was working in insurance and I was attending the funeral of a co-worker a co-worker's father as they rolled in that funeral procession with my boss. He asked me this question. You said what keeps you up at night? Right now I suppose he was talking about our business. But instead I answered and this is what was really going through my mind.

[00:52:50] I'm worried about what those say at my funeral because the best as I could tell whoever was eulogizing me would say this [00:53:00] he worked in insurance. That really bothered me really bothered me. So I was making a great living but all too often when people say that what does it really mean? It really means they're making a lot of money.

[00:53:19] At the time I had a 2 year olds on a wife and everything to live for but it didn't feel that way. So the seeds of what was to come just a few years later. Had already been sold by Christmas of 2010. I was sitting across from my grandfather when I spoke these words and I'll never forget them. I said gramp.

[00:53:45] I just can't see myself living like this for much longer. I'm not sure how but something needs to change the very next month. I had a much deeper sense of foreboding. The [00:54:00] time was running out and I took that to me. I'm just going to die early, you know die soon and not much to show for the time that I was given.

[00:54:11] I didn't know how to walk away from a six-figure right job because you do that and people think you're nuts especially where you're the only breadwinner. I didn't as it turns out. I didn't have to come up with a way though. Because God lowered the hammer. Okay. I almost bought the farm when I induced a near-fatal case of rhabdo Rhabdomyolysis, which I wanted to elaborate on here suffice it to say that was eight years ago, and it was the last time I set foot in an insurance company.

[00:54:52] so. Given those and other events. I was I was literally torn down and brought to my knees [00:55:00] by rhabdo job loss divorce family suicide and other things that are even more traumatic that I won't mention then though little by little I was rebuilt. God put people in my path, right that developed a website for me for free.

[00:55:22] People like you Carl who brought me to shr and gave me a name and the voice people that so believed in my talent. They literally foot the entire bill for my supplement ideas people that came to me asking for help and me finally finding the god-given talents. I have to help them. So it is with that story that I want you to ponder.

[00:55:52] Your legacy because whether you know it or not, we were all given certain gifts. It's your [00:56:00] job to identify what those gifts are. But more importantly use them to help other less fortunate people understand though that the events which will reveal your true talents may seem like hell on Earth. And that for any small amount of time what you don't know is that these same events are molding and shaping you usually.

[00:56:29] for someone special to come along later. If you've been taken advantage of by others, you've been treated poorly and ruined personally professionally or financially sometimes all three then what happens when you finally meet someone. Who treats you like gold? You appreciate them even more much more than had you not gone through what you have gone through.

[00:57:00] [00:57:02] So some people and this is true for myself and ironically maybe not ironically my wife. We've been treated poorly for decades. Before meeting each other and it allows me to appreciate her so much more. Here's the bottom line. life gets tough. I've had issues with depression and anxiety. I've heard from other people that have as well.

[00:57:36] But I want you to hang in there. For just one more day and keep hanging in there for one more day understand that things might not be so bad after surviving them. We've all heard the term. Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. It is one of the [00:58:00] truest sayings you will ever hear and come to know because there is a plan.

[00:58:07] For all of us. You just need to hang in there and have faith that this is part of the plan and I can tell you that by looking back that is very clear. Now. I made a lot of plans plans to make tons of money plans to retire early plans to fix destructive relationships. I was an eccentric cetera.

[00:58:30] Here's the one thing you need to remember about your plan. Sometimes your plans don't work out. Out because God has a better one. It will not be entirely clear when you're going through it and you're brought to your knees. Like I was quite literally. It is only in retrospect. [00:59:00] We you realize that that was part of the plan.

[00:59:05] Get to to who you are today. And allow you to use the gifts that you were given to help other people.

[00:59:18] It sounds like you might have this experience to her. All I could think about when I was thinking in retrospect of it was was a marine that I bumped into in the gym yesterday. And you know what the little stick is there these kids go to Paris Island. And they destroy them. They tear them down mentally physically emotionally psychologically, but they are then built back up into being the killing machines.

[00:59:49] that our country needs. you can't get there though without walking through the valley and sometimes it feels like a valley of [01:00:00] death. All I'm telling you is. Keep walking.

[01:00:07] So sometimes excuse me. Sometimes it's difficult to look back and remember some very traumatic things. You know, I realize why they didn't someone just recently reach out to you because you spoke about your depression. I did I picked up a text last night and they were very kindly said you don't know me.

[01:00:38] You don't know who I am. But I occasionally listen to superhuman radio and the show that you did the blueprint tip of the day, November 27th. Really really help me. And if I'm not mistaken my spoke then to about depression and my issues with it and I excited. [01:01:00] And you know what? I know there are more but hearing from just that one person.

[01:01:09] Makes it all worth it makes it all work. It's not easy to sit here and admit, you know, I've been I've been weak. I've been beating down I have been. for a short time suicidal. But. when I get that message out that I made it through and so can you and then I hear from somebody who benefited from that?

[01:01:40] How do you put a price on that you can't? you can't yeah, so. Yeah, I know. You've been through some very tough times, too. It's important to know though that they don't it's not going to last forever. You know, [01:02:00] it's not going to last forever. And if you need what this gentleman also said this I assumed it was a man could have been a woman but exercise like I said of the top of the show, the best antidepressant there is surrounding yourself with the right people and running with the right crowd.

[01:02:21] Makes a huge difference. I'm not saying it's going to take all your problems away by MC. It's going to be a whole lot better than getting involved with maybe, you know people shooting opioids to escape their troubles. Or alcohol or what have you? Yeah, so it was very cool. I don't need to know the person's name, but I wanted to say thank you because.

[01:02:48] My mind that just validates all the work that we're doing here on shre, and we're not necessarily talking lifting we're talking Life Lifting is a great way, you [01:03:00] know to learn Life Lessons, but occasionally we need to talk about life because. it's not easy and we can support each other and that's what matters.

[01:03:13] Yeah, all good stuff to start the year off. That's for sure. Yes, sir. You sound a million time dude. I just I just need to keep training and I feel great. I don't have any problems when I'm training. I only have problems when I don't so you're literally going or you're using a walker from I have a nice scooter.

[01:03:34] So I kneel on it and I scoot wow, and and so. Today the LG any which is a local power company parked in the spot that I normally park in because most of my parking lot that here at the studio is kind of on a hill. And because they parked in the spot, I normally park and I had to go find a different spot and the different spot that was available to me was all the way up on the hill.

[01:03:59] So I'm [01:04:00] I put my backpack on my back and I put stuff I'm hanging stuff on my handlebars and I start rolling down the hill slowly and I'm squeezing the brakes and all of a sudden the brakes. They're not stopping. And so all of a sudden that the thing wobbles and Bam, I almost fell and I put my damn Left Foot Down.

[01:04:18] Wow, and so I hope tomorrow when I go to the doctors that he doesn't say that I screwed something up, but I'm sure I didn't I mean I don't have any pain in the foot. So I was going to ask how have you been back to the Doctor Who every week every week? He said to successfully this surgery was a success good.

[01:04:40] Oh, man, I'm happy for you. But yeah, so my I know you had some anxiety going into it right every anything but that's the that's the anesthesia. I'm afraid of. I'm not afraid of somebody cutting on me. I and I said hey, can you just give me Valium and like just make me woozy and put a drape under my neck, so I can't see what you're doing and like do it because you [01:05:00] do if they do a block on the leg anyway, so you can't move it.

[01:05:03] It's like a dead fish. You don't feel anything, but they have to put you to sleep too. Just in case. You like try to move or something. So, you know. yeah, I had some trepidation to but I have to say. it worked as advertised for me. In fact, I'm stronger now than I was before I got her. Yeah, I'm excited about the upcoming year really I'm eating differently.

[01:05:29] I'm training. I'm watching my sleep. I'm going to do a show about this go to sleep ring that I have but if you're serious about quality sleep, you must find this Geo the number 2's LEP ring. Oh, man. It's like having a sleep study. It's like having us expensive sleep study in your hand. It's the size of a large capsule and it has a ring on it.

[01:05:52] You wear it upside down. So the capsule is underneath your finger and go to sleep with it. It measures blood Ox it measures [01:06:00] pulse. It measures movement. It measures how your breath how many times you breathe. It does all the same stuff that they do in a sleep study. It sounds like a Fitbit on steroids how it's no but it's not an activity time it doesn't you don't wear it.

[01:06:14] Like oh, I got 36 steps today, you know, none of that stuff is just for sleep, but it reports to you your Peak. You're all your blood oxygen for the entire night. And if it dropped low because maybe you were holding your breath. You have sleep apnea. It also shows you that your heart is dipping or not at night and rest.

[01:06:37] Of course, it has your pulse all night long. It breaks your sleep into the five different levels of sleep and then awake, you know REM sleep and then you have four different levels. Use me how important sleep is. I'm telling you people who are like like they just wake up in the morning and they feel like crap.

[01:06:58] They've been tested for sleep. Apnea don't have [01:07:00] sleep. Apnea. You need this ring. I knew I realized that I wasn't getting enough deep sleep and I took measures and my deep sleep is now increasing right as it was then included what things like lowering carbon lowering sugars and carbohydrates.

[01:07:16] Starchy refined carbohydrate intake number one. That improved that improves Deep Sleep Number One. Yep. I changed my dose of Melatonin. I obviously I always use my blue blockers at 7 p.m. But I'm meditating before bed now and that gets me ready for sleep and I go into a deeper sleep then. This is considering how important sleep is.

[01:07:40] Yes, this this is huge getting this right which it allows cells like this ring. Let you getting this right is going to have a bigger effect on your performance. They've probably anything else you're doing. Certainly shotgunning, whatever supplements have [01:08:00] this month. That is that is something. That is something I'm going to look into.

[01:08:07] What is their website for? Yeah, just just Google Geo the number 2's LEP. That's it. Got it.

[01:08:21] That's fantastic man that it's sleep is not sexy. It's not something that people get all jazzed about it is something that almost everyone that I spoke to struggles with. So getting that right is huge. Cool, man. That's the I think I think we're going to pull the plug on the show. I'm getting messages.

[01:08:40] I got a little issue to handle real quick. So I'm gonna end and we've talked about everything we need to talk about. So here's what I'm going to say will see you next Tuesday with more blueprint power our send your questions in for Rob send them to on air at superhuman radio dotnet and they will be answered on the show.

[01:08:57] Thanks, brother. Thank you. Okay, and [01:09:00] we'll see everybody tomorrow with more. Supreme radio. Thanks for listening today.
