SHR # 2511 :: Glute Lab: The Art and Science of Strength and Physique Training

Share

Dr. Bret Contreas, Ph.D. CSCS

There has been a fascination with butts in the past couple of decades. I say it all started with J Lo who made big round proud asses popular around 1991. She was born with that anti-gravity-ass, but most women don’t have those genetics. It wasn’t till my guest arrived on the scene that women with pancake butts could rejoice. Hard work and focused exercises delivered an award-winning anti-gravity-ass to any woman who wanted it and was willing to put in the effort. But its not just about women or aesthetics. His techniques helped many of us build stronger squats and deadlifts! And from an anti-aging perspective, your glutes go first. And that leads to all sorts of changes in gait and stride that cause hips, knees, and ankles to get wonky. One might contend that the butt is the most important muscle group of all of them! Listen and learn how you can regain strength, size, and while you’re at it, and anti-gravity-ass of your own.
