A new study shows that today's man is mane in me only. Over the past 20 years testosterone levels have plummeted.
Today's young men have testosterone levels that are close to the upper ranges seen in women. What's going on? And can men actually become extinct?
A new segment I'll be adding to the lineup is Stuff I'm Digging. I'll cover studies that aren't practical to interview a guest author but the information is valuable to the audience. Today I'll discuss a study that shows how resistance training eliminates senescent cells. Here's the link to today's study https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6046228/

Show Notes:
[10:36] the environment that we produce can alter sexual preference.
- Higher rates of xenoestrogens and pollution seem to correlate with homo/bisexuality.
- Genetic predispositions can be amplified by the environment.
[13:36] This could eventually result in the human race ending.
- You can not reverse humanity.
- Women are attracted to physical strength and size because of propagation instincts.
[23:05] we are headed toward the movie Idiocracy.
[25:36] Humans are adaptive organisms.
- Chivalry is when a male uses his masculinity to care for and protect a woman.
- This is gone because masculinity is being destroyed by the media.
[30;03] society is shooting itself in the foot.
[39:54] Men with lower test levels die sooner.
- Oversimplification must be avoided when talking about testosterone.
[52:56] Racism is any prejudiced action, good or bad, based on race.
- To complexly eliminate racism would also mean absolving any government assistance program designed to aid minority races.
[1:14:12] Accumulation of senescent cells are largely responsible for aging.
- These cells convert other cells around them to more senescent cells.
- These cells don’t die when they should and are non-functioning space watsters.
- They take the greatest toll on the nervous system.
- It was found that exercise (even when mtor was activated) reduced senescent cells by 48% in 22 year old subjects.
