An Open Letter to President Trump

An Open Letter to President Trump

We can’t fix healthcare without first addressing “why” so many American’s are sick and unhealthy today. If we don’t address that, we will run out of money trying to keep a growing sick population alive no matter how great the new healthcare plan is. The same is true if we just keep the AHA. We can not outrun this problem and throwing more money at it won't solve it either. The hard work is going to be dismantling the industries that are at the root of the epidemic of illness today. The short list is:  - Chemical Manufacturers  - Food Manufacturers   - Big Ag  - Big Pharma  - The Medical Orthodoxy  - The Main Stream Media Each of these industries has a hand in the outright poisoning of our food supply and the prescribed use of drugs whose side effects are worse than the diseases they treat and the misinformation that makes...

New Peptide + Back Extension Show Breaks All Previous First-Month Download Records

New Peptide + Back Extension Show Breaks All Previous First-Month Download Records
ScreenHunter 02 Sep. 20 11.10

SHR episode  # 2070 has broken all previous first month download records with an astonishing 194,040 downloads.    Our CDN tracks MP3 file downloads across our 33 servers that deliver our content to the world. Never before have we seen this number of downloads across the first month of a show's release. Many shows accumulate this and more over the course of a year, but right out of the gate? Nope. The show had two powerful guests. Dr. William Seeds and Coach Charles Staley Dr. William Seeds talked about a unique peptide called Thymosin Alpha 1 and its ability to suppress the onset of viral-related illnesses. I suspect this show was listened to by clinicians with great interest. Staley talked about a unique variation of the back extension exercise using considerably heavier weight than was previously thought prudent. The added weight appears to activate glute muscles to a greater degree thus...

Compounding Pharmacist Gets Jail Time But Gilmartin of Merck Remains Free.. How Is This Possible?

Compounding Pharmacist Gets Jail Time But Gilmartin of Merck Remains Free.. How Is This Possible?

The owner of New England Compounding Center responsible for over 700 cases of fungal meningitis and 64 deaths, Barry J. Cadden, was sentenced to 9 years in prison by Judge Richard Stearns. The case exposed routine problems with the pharmacy’s procedures that put patients at great risk. I don’t disagree with the judge’s decision at all. What I want to know is how did Raymond Gilmartin, then CEO of Merck, not go to jail for the purposeful science cover-up that lead to 88,000+ hear attacks, and 38,000+ verifiable Vioxx related deaths? Merck did however spend $4.85 billion to satisfy some 47,000 plaintiff law suits and 265 potential class action law suits. See folks... you can mass-murder in the USA and not go to jail as long as you have enough money to spread around. I say Raymond Gilmartin needs to go to jail since he was running Merck during this atrocity....

Maybe that's why the gingerbread man is so happy

Maybe that's why the gingerbread man is so happy

Fertility is a big issue today. Environmental insults cause lots of problems with the entire reproductive system. Men suffer from oxidative damage to testes that alters spermatogenesis as well as testosterone production. In this study linked below, ginger (Zingiber officinale) has been shown to protect our little buddies from a significant oxidative assault. We use lots of ginger in our home. As a spice, tea, in salad dressings, Kombucha and protein shakes (don't laugh it tastes good). . As the study points out ginger is also a mild androgen receptor activator. I’m not totally sure how I feel about this though. What I’ve learned about phytoestrogens that’s probably true of phytoandrogens is that they selectively activate parts of the receptor mosaic while not having any effect on others. If it were a pharma drugs we would call ginger a Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator. Everyone’s all gaga about SARM’s but me, not...

New iTunes Channel

New iTunes Channel

I have tried endlessly to get iTunes to amend our existing Super Human Radio channel with the new RSS Feed URL which is almost exactly the same as the old one with the exception of the .net. iTunes being an Apple company is most difficult to work with. They insist that the new URL is a completely new podcast even though I've given them all the needed evidence they need to see that SHR is the same SHR in the old channel for the past 11 years that it is in the new channel. This is just plain dumb. Seriously. If all business was run like iTunes, moving a bricks-and-mortar business from an old physical address to a new physical address would require you to abandon all progress up to that point and start from scratch like a new startup business. If you use the Podcast app on your iPhone or...

This recipe was provided by SHR listener Angela Penna Here's what I do for komucha. You'll have to obtain a scoby or grow your own. One way to grow your own is to use that kombucha Alisa bought and let sit in a jar with a flour sack towel (fst) over top for a week or so in room temp. Should form a rubbery little organism called a scoby. Don't refrigerate the scoby or put in hot liquid or it will die. It'll probably take a bit to grow your scoby, or a few batches. If you do it that way you can use a smaller amount of sweetened tea to get things rolling and follow method below. It's important to take about a cup of liquid from the batch you fermented and keep it with the scoby and add to next batch. Ok so here we go. It's a lot...

Yogurt Bark.. Yummy

Yogurt Bark.. Yummy

I’ll admit it- I still eat dairy!  Greek Yogurt is one of my favorite treats to enjoy.  I also enjoy Icelandic Yogurt however, for the sake of this recipe we will concentrate on the Greek version.  It’s not quite as thick as the Icelandic version making it eaiser to spread on the cookie sheet. With this recipe anything goes.  Depending on your personal taste, you can make this into whatever you want it to be.  I used the plain 0% fat yogurt as my blank canvas and added whatever was available in my pantry.  As a word of caution, check the ingredient label, so many of the fruit added yogurts have high sugar content.  And, why would you want to buy fruit added when you can add your own, fresh fruit?  So, let’s get started… You will need a flat cookie sheet, parchment paper, plain Greek yogurt, I used, fresh organic...

7 years ago Alisa and I stopped buying salad dressing and began to make our own. This recipe is by far our favorite. It’s so delicious that you’ll find yourself drinking the remaining dressing at the bottom of the bowl. It’s so easy to make you can whip it up while your guest watch. Won’t they be impressed! Let’s get started. Ingredient List3/8 cup Papa Vince EVOO3/8 cup White Balsamic Vinegar¼ rounded tsp ginger powder¼ rounded tsp salt¼ rounded tsp white pepper1 large ruby red organic grapefruit1 medium organic orange3 medium organic strawberries  Squeeze the juice from your grapefruit and orange and add it to the blender cup.      Put olive oil, balsamic vinegar, ginger powder, salt and white pepper, orange and grapefruit juice into your blender cup. The Pizza Recipe You've All Been Waiting For

75g of protein, 4g of carbs and 28g of fat with zero gluten or any acellular carbohydrates from any flours. Oh.. and its delicious! Lets get started... Here’s a quick and easy-to-prepare recipe if you want to eat a piece of delicious pizza but don’t want the carbohydrates associated with flour-based crusts regardless of whether or not they contain gluten. Some of you may recall Alisa and my trip to the popular New York eatery Quality Italian a few years ago. We ordered the Chicken Parmesan and what arrived like more like a wood-fired pizza than chicken. That’s because the “crust” was made of chicken breast! I recreated this dish at home and shared the recipe on Facebook. Fast forward to this weekend. Many of you know there’s an amazing new pizza product on the market that took this concept to a new level. And they’re delicious and convenient to just...

The Genetic Benefits of Eating Beef

The Genetic Benefits of Eating Beef

Patrik Dahlin appeared on Super Human Radio last week and discussed a meta-analysis he authored comparing the health outcomes from adherence to a vegan/vegetarian diet –vs- an omnivorous diet (that entire interview can be heard here). Many shocking things came from that discussion. The meta-analysis included over a quarter of a million human subjects. It is clear that the vegan/vegetarians of the world do not fare any better, and, in many cases, worse than their meat-eating brethren when it comes to health and longevity outcomes. Sorry it’s just the truth. What was more shocking was what was revealed at the end of the interview about the potential genetic benefits of eating beef. There’s a new one for you. Something GOOD actually attributed to eating beef. Please don’t tell Beyoncé and Jay Z. This 6 minute video below focuses specifically on this information. How eating beef effects your telomeres. Yep… those darn...
