[2:40] What to expect with bodyweight exercises.

  • Use a hybrid approach of bodyweight and free weight exercises.
  • Doing strict chin ups is much harder than doing pulldowns.
  • Look to gymnasts for your example.
  • The only thing that you are going to lose is a bunch of body fat.
  • Even if you only add the chin up, you will still see benefits.

[10:00] What is the biggest lesson that Rob has learned the hard way?

  • He wasted too much money on supplements and did not invest enough for the future.
  • The longer that you wait, the more you will have to save because you did not take advantage of compounding interest.
  • Bodybuilders do not make money from bodybuilding.

[19:27] What stims does Rob recommend?

  • Almost everyday, Rob has used ephedrine for the past 30 years.
  • Is the rhabdo issue related to ephedrine?
  • Rob has quit ephedrine cold turkey.
  • If you come to rely on a stimulant as a crutch, you are better off without it.
  • There isn’t much better than ephedrine.
  • Rob’s new preworkout provides a clean energy similar to that of a nootropic.

[37:22] What is your opinion on arginine?

  • Large amounts are required via injection to increase GH.
  • There are many alternatives that do work: glycine and GABA.
  • Glycine is anxiolytic.
  • Arginine can enhance the effects of GABA, and it can also increase mTOR.
  • Somatostatin will act as a governor to GH release when using GABA. Arginine acts as a somatostatin inhibitor.

[46:00] Should I be worried about losing alot of weight when not trying.

  • Weight loss whenever you aren’t trying is something that you should consult a doctor about.

[1:00:10] Pushups vs. Benchpress.

  • Pushups are a better movement, and you can always add weight if needed.

[1:11:17] Tip of the day: If you wrote a book, would anybody what to read it?

  • Nobody will remember your money or material possessions when you die.
  • People will will remember you helping them.
