  • Dosage: 100-300mg.
  • Schedule 4 drug.
  • Approved for medical use in 1997.
  • Developed to treat sleepiness due to narcolepsy and sleep apnea.
  • Was used to keep pilots awake during ferry flights to Europe.
  • Available to use for astronauts on the International Space Station.
  • Rob feels that its best use is for long drives.
  • Carl felt clammy after 100 mg of modafinil.
  • He prefers 1 gram of kratom.

[13:47] Aspirating during intra muscular injections?

  • Do it, but it doesn’t have to be as hard as you think.

[19:03] What would happen if I took 20-30 caps of synthagen?

  • Original formula: there was a 40 cap ceiling for the effects.
  • Current formula: the cap ceiling is 20 caps.
  • 10 caps will get the job done in most.
  • Bodyweight does not appear to be a significant factor in dosing requirements.
  • Rob is in the favor of dosing pre workout vs post, but it will work if taken within a 90 minute window post workout.
  • No reported safety issues.
  • Ecdy appears to act as a stand in for vitamin D in the case of D-hypovitaminosis.

[34:10] Anastrozol – Is it bad?

  • Stop with the baby-talk.
  • There is no reason to use it if you don’t know what your estradiol levels are.
  • If you crush estrogen too low, you could experience libido problems, mental issues, joint pain, and suppress your HDL.
  • Some people do need it though.
  • Estradiol is lipolytic and anabolic.

[39;12] Name of a product from the 80’s?

  • The label had ball and stick molecules on it.
  • Rob says: Metabolol from Champion Nutrition.
  • It was the first meal replacement.
  • Contained protein and maltodextrin (a novel carbohydrate for the time).
  • It also contained MCT’s and succinate.
  • Metabolol 2- mixed better and had a better nutrition profile.
  • Revolutionary for the time.

[45:20] What to recommend to a skin cancer patient?

  • Skin cancer is more prevalent than any other cancer combined.
  • Curcumin 1-2 grams per day, EGCG topically 400-500 mg/day, shiitake mushrooms 500-1000mg/day.
  • Prevention- Canstaxanthin orally.
  • For women: white willow bark.
  • The sun is simply the trigger for the chemical reactions in the skin.
  • If your skin doesn’t have carcinogens in it, there won’t be cancer.
  • Clean up the diet!

[56:24] Why can’t you just add 10lbs to the bar each week?

  • Reps are the variable that muscles adapt to most easily.

[1:08:15] What supplements provided Rob the most noticeable results?

  • Weight gainers- simply due to the calories.
  • Tribestin- noticeable libido effect even in his 20’s.

  • Ephedrine HCl.
  • Real Bulgarian tribulus.
  • Rhaponticum Carthimoids.
  • Slim extreme- was a fantastic stim.
  • Progenex- recovery product of the past.

  • Synthagen- close second to Progenex.
  • Kratom and phenibut (addictive)- analgesics.
  • Essential aminos.
