Blueprint Tip of the Day: Some insight into how I formulate products:
[01:18:18] I have always formulated the best, most effective product I can without consideration for price or profit margins, I am told that is precisely backward.
- Supplements need to work for its intended purpose.
- It needs to have a reasonable preferably excellent safety profile.
- It needs to be legal and FDA compliant.
- There is a distinct difference in how I do things versus a lot of other companies.
- I consider physiological mechanisms involved.
- You need to assess things in the real world, and that takes time and money more often than not, lots of it.
- The best ingredients cost more.
- If you are interested in doing this never waver on quality ever.
- Building a good reputation is going to serve you well in the long-term.
- Whatever you do in life, whether it is supplements or something else, commit to doing it the right way from the start.
- That product or service may just be your legacy and you need to make sure that it is a legacy of which you are proud.
[01:15:42] Carl shares a strong opinion on “the biggest idiots in the supplement industry” – a must listen!
